***Important: Position Errors***

Tech crew, please check on the following:

I have noticed at least two players with zero MLB games played in 2009 that have incorrect positions listed. For example, Jeff Clement is currently listed at both C and 1B, while Todd Frazier is listed at 2B. Per the rules (see below), Clement should only be a 1B and Frazier an OF. I'm sure there are others with this problem now, but more important is how minor leaguers will be treated upon reaching the majors in 2010.

The problem is most likely a software-related issue, and how the site is interpretting Rule 9(d). It's probably a simple fix, but it needs to be addressed.

9. Position Eligibility

d) Players who played all of 2009 in the minor leagues will be awarded position eligibility for the 2010 NFBC season based on the most games played at all levels in the minors. Fanball will determine that one eligible position before Draft Day and that will determine that player's status for 2010 once he is called up to the majors.

Clement has been changed to 1B I was told this morning.

Frazier didn't play in the majors last year. Where did he play his most games in the minors last year? I don't have that.

Thanks. We checked Sean Rodriguez, Martin Prado and others who we were concerned with and all seem to have the right eligibility. But we'll keep a lookout and do the same when the minor-leaguers come up.
