Problem With FAAB System
Maybe Geoff can help me out with this or another owner?.....
I have made two sets of bids for one of my NFBC teams. When I log back in, the free agent program always switches the two players that I am planning to drop into the opposite set of bids. I have gone so far as to completely delete both sets of bids and start over but when I logged in this morning they were switched again. I can't figure out why this is happening at all but I need to get it straightened out by tomorrow because if they end up switched where I don't want them then there is a chance that I will end up with an illegal lineup.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
Thanks.

Same thing was happening with me yesterday. I deleted all of the transactions and started over as well. Fortunately, it looks like they are correct today. I will be checking them again throughout the weekend however. Not sure how the glitch is working, but it would suck to have the wrong guy dropped.

Problem With FAAB System
Just checked....this happened on some of my teams as well. Odd.
I hope this can be figured out by today as I'd hate to have to start over considering how many teams I have. John, counting on you here.
Also, how are we coming along on the slow loading of free agents. If that could be speeded up a bit, it would be huge to those of us with a zillion or so teams.
Also, I can't seem to find where you can look ahead on a free agent or even your own lineup's schedule. I see 4/4, but can't figure out how to view future weeks. Can someone please give me a head's up on that?
One suggestion as well on that....for pitchers, any date that they are scheduled to start, the date should be highlighted or tagged.

Problem With FAAB System
***ULTRA SLOW loading of pages***
I have only looked at three of my five teams free agent pools. And even that was a brief look. I haven't set up any bids yet (as it takes too long and there is still 2 days before the deadline). I will be traveling much of today and tomorrow.
I won't have much time to look/enter bids until sometime Sunday afternoon. I'm counting on a faster system and no crashes during the peak Sunday hours (4pm - 8pm).

This has been raised in several other posts. I have been advised that NFBC is aware and working to fix this problem.

The same switch of the dropped players happened on one of my teams too.

Mine actually just switched back to the way I didn't want them! So much for thinking I had it fixed, even after deleting them and starting over.
How does the computer program know exactly how I DON'T want them??!!

okay, just did an experiment...
Time needed to load a Pitcher page on STATS = 2 seconds
Time needed to load a Pitcher page on Fanball = between 30 and 40 seconds
Time needed to load a full Hitter page on STATS = 2 seconds
Time needed to load a full hitter page on Fanball = between 30 and 40 seconds
we've been asked to have patience, and for the most part i think we have. however, it is now ONE day before FAAB runs on Easter (of all days).

My drops were switched on me last night also. Had two lists of bids, and after adding conditionals on the second list the site switched my two drops.
Agree on the slow loading time for free agents. Also, sometimes when I'm scrolling down the player lists, the site starts the loading process all over.

I agree that the wait time is an issue but I think the switching players is a bigger issue right now. I'm willing to wait for it to load as long as it gets the right drops.
For example, If I want to drop a catcher for a different catcher and also drop pitcher for a different pitcher and then if switches my names and I end up dropping the catcher for the pitcher and not winning the other bid then I am going to have one catcher for next week and that's not what I planned!
Hopefully they can get this straightened out today, otherwise a lot of people are going to put in bids, have them get screwed up and end up with the wrong roster and end up upset tomorrow night.
I'm actually considering just doing one add-drop this week just so that the drop names don't get screwed up but I shouldn't have to alter my strategy just to work a system that isn't working properly.

I must be doing something wrong because I have not encountered any of these problems; yes, it takes time to load the different positions but as for setting up who I want to drop and the order, no issues. I hope you guys are hitting the "save changes" before moving on to another bid process.

Another FYI, It takes 10-12 seconds to load the pages for me not 30-40 seconds; I know it can feel like 30-40 but I timed it

Just checked my bids this morning, and the drops were switched again. And yes, I'm hitting SAVE every time.

I can live with the performance issues, but this is going to cause problems if you want to FAAB more than one player.
This should be the top priority.

I have 10+ teams and all my bids have remained as I made them with no changes; if this is happening to some and not to others, who knows what the problem is.

I now see a bigger issue down the road; someone drops a player on Sunday and has buyers remorse on Monday and saying, "Wait, that is not the player I meant to drop." Could turn out to be quite a scam...and before you guys having issues say that is what I think you re doing, I am not; just a thought and FYI.

I agree with Glenn - it isn't a user issue because it has happened to many people.
I think if you haven't run into any problems then you have just been lucky so far......

Jim- This is a real issue that to make things worse happens at sometimes, but not others. It's happened to me twice now, even though I've done everything right. Even though it hasn't affected you so far, I'd check carefully down the road...
As far as scamming it goes, I don't see that as being a big deal. Not like there's a huge advantage in changing your drop right after the FAs are announced. There's still a day before lineups are frozen, and if the system is working, we can drop anyone we want.
Hopefully it will get fixed, but at least as of several hours ago the problem was definitely for real.

Well, my free agent list is screwed up again. Haven't touched it since last night, so not user error. I have 3 free agent lists, not only are the players to be dropped switched for each list, the order in which the lists were created is now wrong as well. Unreal!

Same thing happened to me yesterday. I deleted all bids and started from scratch. Checked this AM and they look fine. If the problem is sporadic that is probably more of a pain to fix.
Also - still don't see FAAB dollars (remaining) anywhere. For my team or anyone elses. Not sure if that is making into the enhancements being processed, but really should be.
