Problem With FAAB System

Wrong in IE Explorer and Mozilla. So not a browser issue in case someone asks.

I was actually mistaken. My Online Double Play team FAAB bids were fine. My NFBC Classic were reversed. Just deleted them and going to try again.

John and Cory are working on this now. We'll get this bug out of the system and get your FAAB bids correct. I'm not sure why the system is slower today, but I'll see if I can get an answer.

Also, anyway to separate SP from RP?? Not necessarily by tomorrow but soon??

45 SECONDS TO LOAD. that's not even in the realm of what i had envisioned. Greg and crew are working on fixing it. PLEASE BE ABLE TO FIX IT. i don't have enough time in the day as it is. another 2 hours in front of the computer is not a possibility for me.

Greg,

The system was working great for me up to about an hour ago. Now I can't sort if I load all FA's (I can sort if only one position). Also, can't load FA pitchers past S.

I notice that you have added the improvement of last name first. This is a nice feature, but I wonder if you should stop adding any more "nice features" to make sure the system is stable for this week.

I can live with the performance issues, but this is going to cause problems if you want to FAAB more than one player.

This should be the top priority.
[/QUOTE]Okay, we have identified the problem and will have this fixed soon. Just so you know, all of your bids are being saved correctly. You are not cutting Ryan Howard, for instance, even though it may show that after you've properly saved your free agent pickup. It is definitely an error within the system, but the saves are being saved correctly.

We're working on this now and will have it displayed properly soon. Thanks for all the feedback, the emails, the screen shots, etc., because that helped the IT identify this problem more quickly. Thanks for your patience and we'll get these two areas solved today and rolling soon so that you can enjoy Easter Sunday with your families. Ah, and me too!! ;)

So I shouldn't bid $300 on Ike Davis? Your recommendation has changed?

Just received word from the hard-working tech team that....

"The display issue for saved lists that were being displayed incorrectly when users returned to the bid page has been corrected!"

Thanks much.

Yes, this is now fixed. Kudos to John, Cory and the guys in ST. Louis for working hard on this. It was definitely a display issue, so all of your saved bids should have been done correctly.

Please email me if you see any other problems or post here. We'll be in drafts the rest of the day and will stay active on the boards. Good luck all with your bids this weekend.

Thanks much. Yup....all seems right now. The load times seem to have picked up significantly as well (though if instantaneous loads are possible, that would awesome ).

Guys, great work on taking on any bugs immediately and the quick turnarounds on resolving them.

You guys are doing a great job.

Just used the FAAB interface for the first time. I found it to be user friendly, had no problems with player flipping and no problems with loading speed! I'm used to sporting news, so I might have a low expectation hurdle, but I thought every thing was GREAT!

New to this party and haven't read all the threads about free agent lists, but has anyone addressed the issue about missing stats that were available to us last year? In particular, I look closely at K's for hitters, GS and BB for pitchers. To me, way more work to have to go to a second site to look up all these stats that are no longer included in the faab system.
Chance favors the prepared mind.

For pitchers I agree with bjoak = Games started and BBs, plus HRs allowed.

Definitely running slower than yesterday. About 20 seconds for the pitchers to load. This is going to be interesting right at deadline time, I could certainly see not getting in to change a last minute bid or add a guy due to load time. Especially fro people with multiple teams.

Embarrassing question, but how do you claim a player? This is my first time to go through the free agent section, and I see no link or method to make a claim....just the FA lists, no claim link that I can see.

Appreciate the help from anyone (since I'm probably the only one who hasn't figured this out by now).

I had to spend way too much time tonight checking other sites to see who plays X amount of games and finding out pitching match ups.
