I know its early in the morning but for the uncomfortable part is not seeing or hearing from Tom or Greg (although I assume they pulled an all nighter and are still working on it)

We should be allowed to use players we won in faab last night. Yes, the deadline for lineups might need to be pushed back to later today even after games have already been played. There isn't a perfect solution but I do know it's unfair to gekko or whoever has to work today to not be allowed to set their lineups with their correct roster after faab has run.

As I posted in another thread;

The problem with these supposed "solutions" is that we have no idea what the crack technological staff is capable of implimenting. We have no ideal in large part because we are in a leadership vaccum at the moment, the powers that be are not communicating. Based on the fact they are not communicating, I am guessing there might not be a simple fix.

So, what do we do with players who we were actually awarded through the FAAB process? Do we add them to our lineups when there's a chance they can be taken away, thereby leaving a hole in the lineup?

Maybe now Tom and Greg will see why so many were doubtful about things. Hopefully things will be fixed fairly so that people working today will be allowed to set their lineups. Testing it properly? I do not understand how they could have even tested it at all. Crazy.

We wait. We see what the leadership thinks the least bad option is. We complain. We say, how unfair it is. We complain some more. We accept it. We move on with our lives.

I'm assuming if that happens, they'd need to move the player previously in the lineup back in, since that's obviously what you would have intended. No reason that can't be done after the fact. I've gone ahead and set up my lineups the way I want for this week. I'm also assuming that all of my missing 'week 0' stats will reappear at some point.

Do I need to go outside and see if the sky is falling? Glad most of my nfbc leagues were slow drafts.

This was supposed to be a crackk technical staff not a technical staff on crack==seriously the whole season is becoming a farcr with the constant snafus we play fantasy sports to depressrize not deal with a FUBAR situation like this

Personally, the bigger problem is that now I have zero confidence in the process. Do I really think the stats will be accurate on a daily basis? What are the odds that the Friday moves are actually going to work? Is this likely to be the last FAAB clusterf**k? I'm going on hope right now. That's a shame.

Are people actually proposing allowing "cheat games" by being able to set your lineup after any games have been played? CDM/Fanball finally got that right by eliminating that aspect from the Sunday Opening night game, and now some message board folks are advocating that?

:eek: Unfortunately this might end up being the best solution depending on when they get the bids straightened out.

This is bad news. The lack of public response is frustrating and only leads me to believe the situation may be totally f-ed. I hope something is worked out, but as of now no solution will satisfy everyone. I agree with those who said we don't care about graphics... only performance. The system in prior years has always worked.
