The effects of new ownership's unbelievable and inexcusable screw up have been mitigated by the tireless efforts of Greg and Geoff. It is only through their efforts that faith in the integrity of the contest has been maintained. Thanks

Why the program wasn't debugged prior to taking our money and going live remains shrouded in mystery, and will be immortalized, forever, as the Merkle's Boner of fantasy sports.

I agree. Greg admitting to and dealing with the screw-up yesterday was impressive, and on a personal level I feel for him and Geoff.

Aloha Gents and Ladies,

Things did not go well. I'm not thrilled about it either. Noted. Merkle's Boner would be a great team name, btw.

For several years now, Greg and his team created, organized, and ran the best high stakes baseball game out there. There were hiccups all along. Please step back and realize that if Greg has shown anything, it's his genuine give-a-**** for all of us. Not just the high dollar players, but those guys who could only afford the $125 Sats with dreams of playing the big event too.

I trust Greg to fix it. He delivered on his word in the past and I'm not about to discard the trust he earned by putting in personal calls, emails, and posts to ensure things were done properly.

2010 started uglier than a $10 hooker. If in the end though, you still feel like you got screwed, vote with your feet and wallet. But don't **** away your relationship with someone who does care about you, the paying customer so swiftly.
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

I agree. Everything is great and working so perfectly. It's hard to believe. Greg,Geoff,Tom,Larry,Moe,Curly and even IT are kicking ass and taking names. Best purchase I made since my '71 Pinto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oveT7aIm ... re=related

Wait! That's not what I meant!

Boy, this positive spin stuff isn't as easy as it looks.

I'm not sure if I should post in this thread or leave it for Greg and Geoff ;) but the reality is the season has not gotten off to the start it should have. Those of us who have been with us over the years know the amount of time Greg and I have invested in this event (and the NFFC). So they know we don't take any of this lightly and we are working as hard as we can to resolve the issues and enable the event to run as smoothly as it has run in the past. Those who are new to our event don't have that history. All they know is FAAB didn't run properly, some lineups weren't set up properly and today the standings aren't correct.

These are all basic things that need to be correct and we understand if people are frustrated. Greg and I are front and center because we've been the faces of this event since its inception. If we're going to feel good when people pat us on the back then we have to take the heat when things don't work properly. And that's what we're doing. All we can say is that we are working extremely hard to rectify any issues that arise and get all of our leagues running properly.

At the end of the day, we want what all of you want - an enjoyable fantasy baseball season. Regardless of whether you're in a $125 satellite or the $10,000 Diamond our commitment to achieving that goal is paramount. We're going to do everything in our power to get these problems resolved so we can all enjoy the season.

dear fanball and fanball corporate: do not lose greg or tom or you have purchased something that is worthless. if they leave- most will leave. i posted this elsewhere- but it is obvious. check the posts- the support is coming from older customers. the newer guys have had it- and for good reason. rule 1 in marketing " don't spend 1 penny marketing something you can't deliver". fanball just did that. i remember when i did business with nutrasweet in the very beginng and they went on to be a case study at northwestern and harvard- in positive ways. if you guys were bigger you might get there also- for all the wrong reasons.

Greg, Tom, Geoff etc...are all stand-up guys who care about this event and all the events they run. They are the face of the product and have to take all the bullets when they fly, but they never shy away from them or throw someone else in front of them. Big respect for that.

Things have definitely been frustrating for the participants, but faith and trust in those who have delivered year in and year out should prevail when all is said and done.

Greg and Tom and now Geoff have earned my trust and dollars over the years and nothing that has happened over the last few days has shaken that in the slightest. If anything it's confirmed it.

Thanks for all the hard work guys.
