Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet-

I think the waived (cut) players go to the very bottom of the list of free agents. They should go back into alphabetical order by name.

Okay, if you go to ROSTER, Set Lineup, you'll now be able to set next week's lineup. You can see the matchups for all of the players there.

In future weeks we'll allow you to set the following week's lineup earlier than Friday, but because of this week's FAAB snafu we needed to get the Friday lineup changes set first. I'll have more of an update on the next week's starting lineup schedule soon.

Okay, transactions for the first week of action in your league can now be found at TRANSACTIONS, History. They are time stamped. Enjoy.

I have posted all of the Cuts and Winning FAAB bids within the General NFBC Discussion thread and some folks have even been nice enough to put them in Excel files. Check them out there and we'll see if we can put them on your team pages shortly too.

I have the Winning FAAB bids and Cuts separated in three files:

Live Events

Double Plays (Online and Live)

Satellite Leagues

Okay, we moved the League Standings to the top of your home page as requested by many folks. Right now we have a yellow box to alert folks to the Friday roster deadline because we felt it was important to let everyone know when rosters locked today. I will pull that off and put that in the Commissioner's Notes after today and then you'll be able to see the League Standings at the very top. Content is under the standings as requested.

We'll make further changes but this was the most important one people requested.

The link for League Forums is small on the front page, but click on that and you'll see a full forum. We have moved that to the top of the right rail where it should be. Have fun smack talking with that.

*Remove the Owners Edge content

*Remove the draft order

*Remove the Commissioner's Message on the right side

*Remove the poll

*Remove the league news

*Add the watch list (Or add in the free agent page)

*Increase the size of message board

Thanks

[/QUOTE]I don't think having the content under the standings hurts the page. I've said Draft Order is already in the Draft Results link and isn't needed either, but even if we get rid of all that it's just a smaller page.

The Watch List is on the To Do list for today. I hope we get it done today, but it's near the bottom. But it's definitely going to get done.

The League Message Boards look great once you click on them. But finding the latest message or number of posts there needs to be more prominent. I totally agree, but all of this can be tweaked in time. Getting the features loaded TODAY and Overall Standings is first on the list. We're making headway and the To Do list is at least getting smaller.

Look under TRANSACTIONS, Team Finances for the remaining FAAB for each owner in each league. That is now there for everyone and will obviously be updated after each Sunday FAAB run. Sorry for the delay all, but we have it ready for you now.

I just got off the phone with John and I believe we will have Overall Standings tonight yet, which would show us Overall Standings through Thursday's games. I believe it is being tested again to make sure everything is right and John will call me when it's done. But I think we're on pace for tonight yet.

Greg,

Nice day of improvements. Is IT working on the ability to export our FA lists to Excel? During the pre-season we were told this was coming. Obviously not the #1 priority but this would be nice. Thanks

Also,

When you search a player it would be nice if it told us what team he is on, when he was picked up/drafted.

Jason Let me check on that. Yeah, I thought that was a feature we had already too.

I talked with John this morning and we may try a simple move to correct Live Scoring today. Making the same categories we have now appear in the same basic order of a box score is simple enough and will look better. It's the way we all read stats and can be done quickly enough. The time for adding categories, deleting categories, etc., isn't the right solution. But reorganizing this the way we all read boxscores can be done quick enough and soothe the eyes for all of you longtime baseball fans. That's the plan right now.

Overall Standings are now visible for four of the contests. Go to STANDINGS link and click on:

2010 Overall

2010 Online (includes Live and Online Double Play teams)

2010 Live Double Play

2010 Auction Championship

Combined Standings will be live early next week. Enjoy.

Owner's Names are now included in all of the Overall Standings. It is pulling this from the original registration form, so it's unlikely that any co-managers are showing or any variance from the principle owner who signed up for that team. But names are now showing.

There is also a highlight to showcase your team in the overall standings.

Enjoy.

In the Free Agent section, the dropped player default now goes to SELECT PLAYER. Sorry for any inconvenience the previous setup caused folks.

Free agents now default to All Hitters rather than Catchers. I hope this saves time for everyone now during the week.

Overall and league standings should have timestamps on them now, so hopefully tomorrow morning you'll know exactly what period this is for.

The League Message Boards also have been upgraded today, now showing:

Last post not first.

Shows 80 characters on the home page of the last post.

Greg,

Last year when we clicked on transaction history we could view on one page all the adds and corresponding drops. This year you have to use the drop down arrow and go between adds and drops. They should be together on one page. The page last year also had the player price near the transaction.

This should also be the default page we see for transaction history. (Add/Drops together)

*I also seem to remember that the players were a blue hyperlink and you could click right on them and open the small player window which had a button to bid on them. This helped make bidding faster. Right now the process is much more time consuming. Can you look into this as well? We don't need the Owners Edge player page to open up. The pop up box last year showed the player stats, weekly game log, position log, round drafted/date picked up, ability to add to watch list, and ability to bid on.

Please send this off to Fanball IT to make it look like last year.

Things are definitely improving. It would be nice when I click on "team Stats" if I could get year to date for my roster. Seems like a basic and simple function. Thanks.

I know this isn't a biggee change but it was driving me crazy: Batting average within your league standings now goes out four decimals for all numbers. Before .2800 was showing up as .280 and not lining up with the other stats. That has been fixed now and all categories within league and overall standings now should line up.

We also have all free agent rosters cleaned out of retired players and Jeff "Freaking" Clement totally as 1B/CI. We have to get all players who were cut alphabetically listed at the right positions and we will do that soon, but Free Agents should be cleaned out. We'll address the fact that some players are showing up under positions they are playing but not qualifying for; that shouldn't be happening.
