Another problem with the internet. Programmers from 'somewhere' have to be called.

If the newspaper isn't there. That paperboy lived in the same neighborhood and could ride it over in a minute or two.

I was a paperboy since I was 10. 57 papers and to this day I bet I could still remember that route. Unfortunately, half the old houses are gone in my hometown now, but I remember that route. Weekly subscription without the Sunday paper was 90 cents; with Sunday paper was like $1.30. I remember having a bag of dimes at the time to make change for those I collected from each week.

I'm still cheap to this day because of that paper route!! :D

Standings haven't been updated today and Live Scoring is not working for me. I'm using IE, and that is all I can use at work.

What is the status on daily team reports? I have had "Email Me" plus other boxes found under Email Preferences checked all along and have yet to receive a report.

So much for this thread being only for updates on the site.

The website has not been working for me all day today on AOL. It shows the old "main page" with the big ad for owner's edge, and some of the links are missing, while others don't work.

I switched to Mozilla Firefox, and it works. But it would be nice if they can fix it so it works on AOL.

Greg,

Not sure if this has been brought up. In Free Agency when I sort the stats and choose last 7 days the players are coming up showing their 2007 stats? For example the last 7 days Eric Byrnes has 626 at bats, 21hrs, and 50 sbs.

If I choose last 14 and 30 days all players comes up with no stats.

Honestly, I hate to force anyone to do extra work but if you see quirks like this email me at [email protected]. It's so easy for me to then forward that email to Ryan's group to get it fixed ASAP.

I know this is my thread that I started last week, but honestly I've asked Ryan to update IT developments if he could. He's in St. Louis, he's head of Creative and he's pushing all of this along. I'm like on an island here now and I'm doing all I can to relay what needs to get done and hoping to hear good news from St. Louis, but honestly Ryan knows more than me. All I can do is beg, beg, beg, like you guys to get all of this done.

The Year To Date stats should be there now in the team stats page. I hope benched player stats get fixed soon.

I use the iPhone a lot, and now the Ipad, and it's a little bit of a bummer that live scoring doesn't work on either.

Just passing it along for the IT staff that it's not a situation where I can change browsers. I'm stuck with Safari.

thanks

-Craig Pretty sure that the Live Scoring page is Flash-based and that neither the iPhone or iPad supports it.

Hey Geoff. I believe it's JavaScript-based, which the iPhone and it's Safari browser supports, but there's some incompatibility with the specific techniques used. If it were Flash, there would be a large blank area of the screen, but that is not the case. The Javascript just fails to fire.

If anyone has found a way around this, let me know.

[/QUOTE]Correction: Geoff, you're right. There is a flash object buried within the JQuery/javascript.

Bummer. Flash should not be necessary.
