Live scoring format suggestion

Post by KJ Duke » Thu Apr 08, 2010 8:12 pm

I created my best impersonation of an MLB box score customized for the NFBC.

Setting my personal preferences aside, this is close as I can get to a standard MLB.com box score (adding columns for required fantasy stats (HR, SB, W, Sv).

What do you guys think of this? standard box score

My personal preference, with more of a fantasy orientation, would instead look like this: fantasy box score

i can live with either, but i actually prefer yours. the question is, can the fanball IT team actually do it without causing complete chaos?

Yes,

Please make this easier to read. Can you set it up so it's the same that STATS had in the past. It makes no sense how it is organized now, i cant follow it honestly.

If it can’t be setup with the vertical lines dividing the segments visually, the standard box score is better.

If vertical lines can be added to divide segments, I could live with both.

I will do everything I can today to push to get the stat categories in the proper order on Live Scoring and Team Stats pages today. I know we have a lot of other items ahead on the pecking order, but this seems like something we can do and just make the presentation more orderly for anyone who knows how these should be presented. I hear ya. I'm pushing hard for it and then it will be standard in all scoring pages you see going forward. I'm with you on this.

Put me down in the category of "I don't give a xxxx" about formatting. Let's push the important stuff to the top. We need to see who was dropped in the last FAAB (history) and we need to see overall totals for the National contests.

I'm beyond frustrated there because you folks need to see who was cut in your league last week to smartly make bids this week. That goes without saying, yet we're saying it again.

Overall MUST be live too. That's what gets the blood flowing here. Gets people excited about waking up and seeing who is having the best starts. Of course nobody is excited right now about waking up and seeing NFBC league standings. It's like any other league. But the Overall PUMPS everyone up about this contest. That WILL get done today. It HAS to.

I'm with you guys. Now it's time to get sh*t done.
