Get him out, the pitcher leads off the next inning and more than likely you are up an out before the "lead-off" hitter bats.

Here we go again....Pelfrey against Desmond....runner on third, 2 outs
Although, now they would pinch-hit for pitcher.
When its earlier in the game, it makes no sense to me why even pitch to him with base open
