Thanks, Greg. I did go into "My Settings" yesterday and deselected options, saved, then went back in and reset. This seemed to have worked as I received updates for most of my teams today.

Scott Good to hear Scott. Yes, that's the first step of getting daily emails and I'm not sure we've done a good enough job of telling folks about that. I'll tell Tom to add that to the next NFBC newsletter. But I know some folks have checked the email box and still aren't getting newsletters. We'll still try to get that fixed so everyone can get daily emails.

Any word on when IE is going to be fixed for the Free Agent page? I use a work computer which does not allow me to download anything, so I cannot update my browser to Firefox. Right now, I have to use someone elses computer in order to look at free agents.

It might take a few seconds to load, but once it does I can sort by any comumn. Give it a few seconds, it should work fine.

Greg - Thanks for pushing all these changes through. The site is looking really good now.

OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

First, great job you've done to address the programming issues, you've come a long way in a few weeks.

Can we reset the default sort of stats in FAAB?

The first click on a stats header always sorts the data from lowest to highest. That is great for ERA and Whip, but not for AB or RBIs, things like that.

For the counting and BA stats, I would suggest it goes highest to lowest.

If it is possible to program things separately, I would also suggest making ERA WHIP the opposite, lowest to highest.

I know this is not a big deal, just means we need to click twice instead of once. . . but over time it will save a lot of processing to the server, and frankly. . . . it is a bit annoying.

Thanks!
They say ignorance is bliss, Idon't know what that means, but I sure am happy.
Also looking forward to weekly overall standings. Any updates on MLB YTD under our team stats page?

Also, the +/- on our league standings page is not functioning properly. Not sure if this has been brought up but mine has several that are incorrect.

Hi Greg,

Not a huge issue. I have been getting the daily emails but now I'm getting 2 of each for each league. I get one at 5AM EST and the 2nd at 6:36AM EST. They are the same exact emails.

Another owner told me that yesterday and I thought maybe we had two different email addresses for him, but he said that wasn't the case. I don't think we have two different emails for you either Jason. I'm going to St. Louis tomorrow and just added this to my To Do List that I sent them 5 minutes ago. We'll figure this out and get it fixed. I'm glad some people who weren't getting emails now are getting two, but that's not the goal. But more is better than none. :D We're on it.

Greg -

In the stats section within our team homepage are the Fantasy YTD stats correct? I ask because they seem off.

Example - David Wright has 4 homers going into tonight's game yet the Team Stats (Fantasy YTD) shows him at 3 (and I have played him every game/week).

Same thing for Brett Gardner - only showing 9 steals when he has 11. Again played him every game.

Just want to be sure stats are being added up accurately and this is just a visual error on the page.

???

??? Same deal for me with Gardner. I've played him every week and it shows 9 steals.

There should probably be some sort of alert that you roster is illegal like we had last year. I picked up a 3B for an SP in FAAB and the system slotted him into of the Pitcher spots, but it said 3B on his drop down. I obviously am changing it, but I could see someone in a hurry not see that and end up with 8 SP and 2 3B.

I am in St. Louis now and just met with John and his team here. Items we are working on and should have finished soon include:

a) MLB To Date pulldown on Team Stats

b) Period Tabs in Overall Standings and sortable categories

c) Live Scoring toggle for all of your teams to see

This is what we are finishing up now.

That all sounds great Greg.

The only other thing I miss is from the Stats live scoring feature, where it sorted by category of where you currently stand. This could be accomplished on the current live scoring by making the columns sortable . Sorry if this is a repeat but I find myself constantly scanning my opponents for stats that I'm close to, when a sort could give my two retinas a rest.

Thanks for all of the awesome new features coming out.

Greg,

I know this has been brought up before. Can the IT page clean up our league home page? We have plenty of unnecessary stuff that clogs up the page and shrinks the important stuff. Can we please have the following removed:

*League News - Attention NFBC Owners: Don't forget that there is a $75,000 cash bonus this year for any NFBC owner who can win BOTH overall titles in the NFBC Classic and the NFBC Double Play. Lindy Hinkelman accomplished that incredible feat to earn an NFBC record of $241,300. Spots are still available in all of the Live NFBC Double Play events and in the Online Double Play contest. Just click on any SIGN UP NOW link for available times and dates for all of these events.

*Commish Message - Welcome to the 2010 NFBC season. It's a new season, a new time to crown a champion, and as you can see a new web site. The NFBC game site has been enhanced considerably with all of the same features you had before but with a better look and feel. Give your game site a test ride for now and let us know what you think. If you have any feedback or questions, contact us at [email protected]. Enjoy the ride and good luck in all of your leagues this upcoming season.

- The Commish

*Polls- Whom will be the top player heading into 2010?

*Draft order

Perhaps the extra space could increase the size of the message board? The message board last year was much better. It had a nice size and you could read the full message and also view a picture. Right now I find the current message board useless. You have to drill into too many links so I never check it.

Thank you in advance.

Viewing the standings by period. Is this now a lost cause to keep raising?

Jason Greg,

I'm not sure if you missed this. Any insight into whether this is on the agenda with IT? Thanks
This is a must, a daily feature most people use that we don't have a month into the season. Live scoring loses so much value when you can't look by category and see your movement for the day in each cat.
