Who Is Leading The NFBC Main Event?

Okay, I gave the NFBC Main Event a few weeks to play out before calling out any winners, although already we've had a handful of overall leaders through the first three weeks of the season. The team of Nate Ravitz/Glenn Colton won the Week 1 prize for top team and since then I believe that Eddy Betancourt, Michael Crescenzi and a few others have held the top spot.

Mark Srebro, our debut NFFC $100,000 champion, has now taken the lead in Week 3 and held it each day this week. Mark is trying to be the best $100,000 champion in different sports, which would be quite an accomplishment. But there's also 5+ months to go, so don't celebrate just yet. Mark drafted in New York League 4 on the second weekend.

Also of note, Andrew Robinson has two teams in the Top 20 overall. His Las Vegas League 6 team from the second weekend is second overall and his LV 1 team from the first weekend is 18th overall. Andy has battled for years in the NFBC and come close many times and he's having fun right now with the early success. See Andy, I told you things could come together one year!!

Of the Top 21 teams in the overall standings as of today, 5 are from the first weekend, which statistically is about right for the number of teams competing each weekend. It's been a fun run thus far.

Good luck to all the rest of the way and I'll use this thread to update the leaderboard when new overall leaders emerge. It's fun for those who aren't in the contest to keep up with our run to the $100K through our Message Boards.

While you will enjoy the championship if you win it... you will certainly hate the fact that everyone will call it tainted.

Envy and jealousy are major character flaws, and they can effect our lives negatively if we allow it. As with all character flaws, they can be changed if we open ourselves up to the possibility and put in the hard work that is required to tame the green-eyed monster.

See that is the kind of overreaction that shows where your heart truely lies. I am sorry I brought out such emotion. I should have known it would have been too sore of a subject for a Narcissist like yourself.
