My thanks to NFBC Charter Members George & Sandi Kleemann for meeting me for lunch today in the Windy City and even buying me a Corona or two. I made the cardinal sin of spilling my Corona when trying to stuff an overly fat lime into my bottle, but I caught it on the first bounce and barely spilled an ounce or two on my Fanball shirt!!



I was in Chicago today to see our new venue for the Chicago NFFC live drafts and I LOVED IT!! It's a possible new venue for next March too. I liked it that much. We'll see how this goes on Labor Day weekend for the NFFC, but I think this could be a lot of fun for everyone. Stay tuned on that announcement in the next week.



Thanks to Rob Benetti for suggesting this location and also thanks to Sandi for getting me the right contact at this place. Within a week we have a done deal.



And also a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY to George as he has a milestone birthday coming up in the next week. I have one with a 0 coming up soon, but George's number before his 0 is bigger than mine!! Congrats George and good luck blowing out that many candles!!



George and Sandi have been great customers of the NFBC and NFFC for the last seven years and today was the first time we ever met each other. It was a lot of fun for all three of us and we had a couple of hours to talk about family, baseball, football and even work. Great, great fun and it was great to meet a fantastic couple who are definitely more than just customers. They are good friends.
