Colby Lewis... great story this year.

I first believed when I read a Buster Olney article back in January. Enjoy if you got him after round 20 in any of your nfbc drafts this season!

After round 20???

You should be celebrating if you "reached" for him in round 15!

He is a beast!

I was only able to get him on one of my teams...

The one positive is it was my Super.

Let's hope the rest of that team starts performing like Mr. Colby Lewis...

He is a beast! Got him in the online and 1 of 2 satellites but missed him in the main. I think he went rd 20 or 21. Had my chances and instead took JJ Hardy in the 20th. Whoops.

We got him in St. Louis in round 24 and Chicago auction for $1. In Chicago main he went higher at 20 and we missed him.

I was on Colby for awhile. Good info about him in the pre-season. His ratios in Japan were sick. 360 K's in like 350 innings and what, 55 walks? Someone said if a Japanese pitcher was coming to the US with those numbers and ratios he would have gotten Dice K coverage and $$$. I thought that was a good point, and that he was flying way too far under the radar. For his price it was well worth the later pick.
Who is this, robed in splendor, striding forward in the greatness of his strength? “It is I, proclaiming victory, mighty to save.” Isaiah 63:1

If you could have only one, which & why?

[/QUOTE]Since I have Garcia in the main, I'll take Garcia.

Only downside to Garcia is that he could wear down during the second half of the season. Not too concerned but just hope he doesn't run out of gas.
