Greg, I bought the last spot for someone who would want to play but can't afford the fee. I'll leave it up to you to find that player. Shouldn't be hard in Las Vegas.

I know deep down how much you enjoy being part of this fantasy baseball family and we appreciate all your support in our event. Greg, I've been lucky enough to be able to play in your contest. Just wanted to share it with someone who hasn't been as lucky. However it turns out is fine with me. It would be nice to see someone who had no chance to play before get a shot though.

Seriously, it's a very nice thing to do, but I'd be afraid I'd end up with some kind of reverse karma. You'd feel kind of like not putting that third quarter in the max bet slot machine when it hits.

Maybe if they don't need your guy, you could donate the money to charity or something. Be sure to tell everyone.

I just got another newbie in to replace anyone who hasn't paid yet. Thanks John for the great gesture, but now I definitely will cancel that one out. Nobody from accounting is in the office this weekend anyway (hell, I'm the only fool working weekends around here), so it hasn't gone through yet. Thanks again, but I see 300 paid entrants right now: 158 returning members and 142 newbies. How's that for a Year Two of an event?

I was concerned one time about how much control I have over my team (like any sensible owner should be) and for some reason you thought that made me 'grumpy' so now you follow me around and post stupid things like this. And now I am irritated. I never said anything bad about you. I challenge you to go find something and post it here. Otherwise, leave me alone.

If you don't like me you can go after me in the standings. I certainly plan on looking back at you.

Nonetheless I don't think you need to be 80 years old to be grumpy. If you're 35 years old then it proves you can be a young grump.
