Bengie Molina left today's game with a tight hamstring. Is it getting close to "Buster Time"?

99.9% buster won't be up at the earliest until they lock in another year of service. if molina is healthy all year, posey will be up in Sept.

Posey may end up with more time in the majors this year than Castro will have with the Cubs.

Posey will be up before Memorial Day or maybe early June. The Giants need his offense.

I will give my boy Mark the benefit of the doubt and assume he knows the rules regarding free agency and arbitration a bit better than his posts may indicate.

I defer to Lance, KJ, bjoak, but it appears to me that Giants GM has his head firmly up his azz.

Just read they were trying to knock around ideas to generate offense after another 1-0 defeat to Padres.

HELLO! McFLY! Even if Posey's catching skills need more work (as mgmt claim) he doesn't have to catch full-time. Just get his bat in there you geniuses.

I can't believe they gave Zito a jillion 3 yrs ago, but are worried about Buster becoming FA too soon.

Do they want to win this year?

*only fair to add I have badasss Buster on one of my teams  but still, c'mon, everybody knows he becomes there 2nd best hitter the instant he arrives.

Yes, the other Buster confirmed the rumor this morning on his Twitter.

When will he be added here?

You said you don't watch games, where does your assessment come from? His 17 games last year? All scouts think Posey is a legit talent. If you did watch, you'd see he has above average bat speed, he'll hit for a good average at the very least, which is all that you want from a catcher. I do not understand why you've invested so much into blasting Posey. You don't like him, fair enough...I remember your scouting/predictions of Delgado 2 years ago, his bat speed shot, bad lower half, he's done...to the tune of 38 Hr's!
