Freak injuries happen, like Kobe Bryant supposedly cutting his finger on a window in his garage or Plaxico Burress shooting his... Nevermind that one... or Monta Ellis spraining his ankle riding a four-runner....Okay, I got one , Clint Barmes carrying Todd Helton deer meet if a flight of stairs and hurting himself.

Point is, we can't store these guys in a plastic bubble between games, they are human. They put cell phones in their jerseys for endzone celebrations. They pull their pants down in front of 40,000 people to get rid of dirt. They punch walls when they're angry. Should no walls around the clubhouse or dugout be made of concrete? That would save 2 or 3 injuries a year easily.

It is, after all, a game. In fantasy and in real life.

Agreed freak injuries happen. Remember a hedge clipper incident years ago as well with some pitcher, maybe Ojeda. But this is preventable. There are no more celebrations like this if I own the team. Shake hands, pat on the back, and into the clubhouse. I really believe the loss to the Angels could go into the millions of dollars. That is my question. Do you agree that this preventable injury cost someone that much money?

It's a strange question that you are asking. They are paying Kendry Morales' salary regardless of whether he plays or not. So it didn't cost them anything. But in value, it cost them a great deal. And maybe now less fans walk up and buy tickets to games. And buy less concessions. And costs them a chance at the division. But money, no.

Yes, I guess I mean value then. Those are exactly some of my thoughts. Fans in the seats, concessions, parking, post season $$$. And I'm sure many more items.

The hedge clipper incident with a NY Met pitcher was made up, He really cut his finger at a bar on Bell Blvd Bayside.

regardless of what anyone feels, we all have the right to be angry. It was a stupid injury if someone like myself who takes this stuff seriously wants to get pissed off and call him a dickhead then I have every right to. I put a lot of effort into this and to have something that stupid set me back is gonna make me angry no matter how big of a baseball fan I am. So if I wanna spew some venom towards Kendry then so be it....who cares if they are not robots...wehn someone like Manny or Ortiz hit a bomb and then sit and stare at it cause its a game and they want to admire and get excited over a nice swing...and then get thrown out at 2nd cause the ball hit the wall we call them names for not being robots...there is no difference in this situation...whoopidy doo he hit a walkoff homerun vs a shitty team in a meaningless may game but they had to celebrate like they just won the WS....now the angels, the fans, kendry and all the fantasy players(the millions) all suffer because he is human supposedly a professional acting like a 5 year old.....We should all be so happy and forgiving I guess....
