20BB in his last 23IP says "injury". either that or he is turning into rich harden.

the real kicker is those 23IP were all against average or substandard offenses:

Houston

Arizona

Washington

Colorado (not in Coors)

but, unless he really is hurt, he should turn it around.

Pujols and Lincecum, maybe not that great a start after all.

I thought I might have something special with Lincecum, Ubaldo, Hughes and Strasburg in the wings. Lincecum had a horrible spring which everyone rightfully threw out the window. But these last 5 starts (especially the walks) scream injury. Probably not a major one but something that has turned him into less than average. I bet you'll see him miss a start.

No pitcher in the major leagues has walked 5 or more in 5 consecutive starts since Dontrelle Willis in 2008. No pitcher in Giants franchise history has ever done it. Something is not right.

Pujols and Lincecum, maybe not that great a start after all. I've been thinking the same thing the last couple weeks.

Throw in Victor Martinez (3rd round), Brian Roberts (5th), Derrick Lee (6th), Howie Kendrick (8th), Brett Anderson (9th round), Chad Qualls (10th), & Miguel Tejada (11th) and the top of my draft really hasn't given me anything close to what I had hoped.

Luckily my later draft picks & free agents have kept me in this thing. Hopefully, they can keep up their paces and those who were supposed to carry my team will step it up and then I could have something special.

Of course if the top of my draft keeps underperforming and those lower picks that have been carrying me start to regress....yikes, could get ugly. :(

Guess, time will tell.

Who would you rather have now Arod or Puljols.

Until that 3 homer game by Puljos he was the invisble man.Arod with 6 more rbi's and will probably knock more runs in than Albert, plus Albert aint runnin.

I didn't want lincecum this year and passed on him in the main for halladay. Just a gut feeling. That same gut feeling also told me to draft BJ Upton in the third... ugghh.
