SHORT SIGHTEDNESS

It amazes me that many of the contestants here worry about a single save here, an extra home run there, etc. A player dropped by mistake and then allowed to be picked up again.

This stuff is small potatoes.

If you draft the right guys, and manage your roster the right way during the season, all of this other stuff is a heaping pile of BS. I had a bunch of brews tonight at my local German club, and felt the need to rant a little bit. Carry on.....

Shields + J Moyer = 19 er, 4 ip? Beautiful.

(Thanks to a rainout, Moyer got to pitch at Fenway - he would've benched).

A man becomes preeminent, he's expected to have enthusiasms. Enthusiasms, enthusiasms... What are mine? What draws my admiration? What is that which gives me joy? Baseball! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6NRIpmO6FWk

Btw, Moyer had a 3.00/1.04 line in the 4 starts I've used him until tonight's unintended start.

i know i mentioned this earlier in the year, but it makes sense to mention it again now. assuming Fanball can program it, if a pitcher hasn't pitched Monday - Thursday, it sure would be nice to be able to switch them out for the Friday - Sunday games.

I come home with 2 of my kids... I go into the office to unload wallet, keys, check scores. I see G.Sanchez great game (who I dropped in the auction league last sunday because STANTON was called up, I don't need no stinkin Gaby and his 4 hr's blah blah blah) and I just want to puke. My other kid comes running - "daddy daddy come quick" (4 awful words you dont want to hear). Water is cascading thru the tiles, spreading over the living room floor upstairs... the boy jammed the toilet and stood there for 5 minutes while the water is pouring out and Im checking scores. Genius

I'll take a pounding over that any day. Oh wait, maybe I'll get that pounding tomorrow.

The pic is not of my house but you get the picture.

Now get ready for "untouchables" to login and tell you it your own fault for having too many kids and or too many toilets.
