'Buck Showalter could be named Manager of the O's Next Week'

I s'pose there are only 30 of those jobs...still...it rings in with the same significance as...

'Jimmy McFries to be named new Manager of Local McDonalds Next Week'

'The Hanshin Tigers Plan to Retain Matt Murton'

All that studying wasted! Murton was going to be a secret weapon! The Empire of Japan will hear from me on this one! DOH!

Jason Marquis Throws Batting Practice'

Some things never change

'Pujols Expecting Monster Second Half'

What was he expecting before the First half?

'Boras compares Fielder to Teixeira'

It's only fair, Brewers owners compare Boras to an anal canal

'The Blue Jays have let it Known that Frasor, Downs, and Gregg are available'

Much like,

'ketchup, mustard, and napkins are available upon request.

How about this one from CBS:

"Ludwick, batted .273 in the first half of this season with 11 homers and 42 RBI. He had a down first half, but has come through with solid second halves averaging 10 homers and 40 RBI while batting .285 over his past three seasons."

Excuse me but aren't those splits the same?

Excuse me but aren't those splits the same? You neglected to include that they said he should be owned in all leagues.

'Brad Penny Has no timetable for Return'

It has to be said.....sorry,

A Penny saved (on the roster), is a Penny spurned...I know, I know...I hate myself

'Carlos Delgado Still Rehabbing Hip but wants to Play'

Like the uncoordinated kid on the playground, Carlos will be left to wonder why nobody picked him (up).

'Brett Anderson throws Four Rehab Innings'

Two trivia questions come to mind-

What is the record for rehab innings?

Has anybody thrown more rehab innings than Major League innings?

And yes, I own him. :D :(

Never mind about the trivia questions, I was just PM'ed that JA Happ has to be the answer to both questions by now.

He could also be the first pitcher that rehabbed himself to AAA.
