So was everyone as prepared as they were bragging they would be on here last week? I feel confident that I was most prepared or at least tied for it, and I think my league members would vouch for me. I surprised those around me by rarely needing to look at my data and I didn't make any double-picks. I was also ready with all my picks as my # was called, though I will admit I had trouble in round 26 which went like this:
"Hang on. Give me a minute. Literally. Crap, it seems like all these guys are taken. How about JJ Hardy? Has anyone taken JJ Hardy?"
"No."
"Fine, I'll take JJ Hardy."
But I was meticulous and prepared in the rest of it. How about the rest of you? Were you the guy in my league who took the full minute every damn time?

I'm a bit confused about the rules. Do you get extra points for...
o Drafting quickly
o Maintaining a good team balance
o Drafting in the spirit of the game
Are there penalty points for...
o Flagrant mockery of tradition
o Not knowing who JJ Hardy is
I thought this was a competition to win money. Does anybody know baseball players better than the "professionals" that are playing in the NFBC that also run fantasy information websites. I certainly don't, and have never thought I did. I can't out study those guys.
I wouldn't play if I couldn't figure out an angle that MIGHT win a league or come in the money.
To me, THAT is what preparation means.

If,it makes u feel any better , last year the guy next to me showed up with only the books NFBC gave him, used the pen mvpsportsbook gave him , passed out once, missed his time and pick 15 times , and he won the league by 17 pts ................so have fun with your stats and figures and readiness

yup sounds exactly like the guy who sat next to me this year, sat down with no pen no stats and used only the books the NFBC gave...and went on to pick every 40+ and injury prone player in the game...Unit, Bonds, Gagne , Prior to kick it off GOOD LUCK!!!
