So, would we post our picks on the board? Would it be better to collect e-mail addresses and do it by e-mail instead? This way we are not sharing our picks with everyone.

Thanks.

An E-Mail draft sounds great to me.

If everyone can send me their e-mail addresses, we can get this ball rolling.

Mine is [email protected]

Greg, is there a way that you can take our money before opening up a draft room?

Greg, is there a way that you can take our money before opening up a draft room? You guys can get it started via email and we'll have the draft room done hopefully by the end of October. At some point we'll all log in to catch up on the picks you've already done (or we can do that for you) and then finish up the rest of this draft www.draftpractice.com. The picks will then automatically be loaded into your team pages when this is done and the league will be good to go.

I'm not worried about payment at this point. Registration will be done in October along with the updated web site and we'll get that all taken care of then. No worries with this group.

Thanks for organizing this one Dan and good luck. We'll be in touch on all of this soon, but take and run with it beforehand.

Dan, if we do the draft via email, how are we going to track who has been picked? I was actually counting on the draft software to do this. Would it be easier to draft right on the message board?

Each pick should go to all 15 Managers.

Once I get all of the e-mails, I will send the draft orders out.

Just hit 'reply all' with each pick.

Please send draft preferences along with the e-mail address.

I agree that we should include a running tally of all picks in all e-mails.

It will likely look like the summaries we use to get from MDC for slow drafts.

Where are we on this? Still missing some emails?

Yep, we're missing a few fellas.

If they don't send e-mails by tonight, I'll PM them tomorrow morning and hopefully we can get the ball rolling Monday.

We also had someone that had to go out of the country, but have two on a waiting list and I'm waiting to hear back from the first guy on the waiting list.

That's the news on the Premature-E-Draftulation League.

Cornhusker

Mallorys Killers

Lawrence Liebman

Sandckaye

Let me know by the end of the weekend and we'll get this thing started Monday.

I'd also give you my work email address, but then I might find myself fired or something.

It looks like we are doing KDS? I will go with the following:

We are down to two spots.

Cornhusker had let me know before that he couldn't do this draft, but I kept him on the list.

Stupid me!

It's ok, I've e-mailed the next guy on the waiting list for that spot.

Sandckaye has not responded to my PM or this thread. We'll give him 24 more hours and then give up on him.

The waiting list has reached it's end.

If somebody wants to take the spot that was saved for Sandckaye, let me know on this thread or PM me with your e-mail address and KDS.

Hi, Dan.

Stan Kaye may not have checked e-mail, but he did a bunch of slow drafts last year, including the first 4-5, so he should be good to go.

I think I have his phone number somewhere, so I can call and leave him a message.

For KDS, I'll go 1-5, 10-6, 11-15

Thanks.

Great Scott!

I mean great, Scott.

Give him a call.

I've got a PM from another would be entrant if it doesn't work for Stan.

I left Stan a voice message at his home. I asked him to post a note on the message board to confirm his spot.

Take care.

Stan No problem, Stan.

I ran a slow draft mostly by phone last year. It shouldn't be a problem at all.

I haven't heard back from the last person, when he gets back to me, I'll get the draft picks sent out to everyone.

#1 pick will be on the clock Monday morning.

Yo Dan,

Remember me? Haven't been on the boards for most of the season and just logged on and saw this! Great f-ing idea as they say here in NJ. Let me know if you still need someone for this. I'm in if you do. You can use [email protected] for my e-mail for this. I'll get you my KDS if I'm in right away. Thanks!
