Glenn Lowy Is Week 24 Classic Winner

Post by Tom Kessenich » Tue Sep 14, 2010 2:17 am

Congratulations to Glenn Lowy who topped the NFBC field last week with 4,103 points.

Albert Pujols (.321-4-8), Eric Young (.462, 3 SBs) and Vernon Wells (.381-3-6) led the way at the plate. Tim Lincecum and Brett Anderson combined for four wins and 29 strikeouts while Koji Uehara and Clay Hensley combined for six saves to lead the pitching staff.

For finishing first last week Glenn wins $100 worth of certificates from Fatheads. Congratulations again to Glenn and good luck to everyone in the NFBC this week.

Now I'll only need to do this three more weeks in a row in order to catch that damn Jupinka!

By the way, do they make Buzz Lightyear Fatheads?

I think my son would love that.

Good luck to everyone the rest of the year.

It's been great fun.

Way to go, Glenn.

And you've catapulted to second place overall.

Heckuva job.

It's ok to admit that you're the Buzz Lightyear fan

[/QUOTE]Glenn, your ascension caught my eye last week. I then looked at your team... let me just say I can't seem to keep enough Pepcid in the house.

Wow, what an amazing vault Glenn. I haven't looked at the NFBC overall standings these last two weeks, but congrats on getting yourself in position to win the $100,000 grand prize. Kudos to you and your in-season management.

Should be a fight to the finish with a lot of good owners in the hunt for the $100,000. I'll be watching closely. Good job all and let's get it on.

Thanks Greg, Tom, Steve, & Dan,

It's been real exciting watching my team move up the standings these last couple weeks. It's hard to describe how much fun it's been.

Now the only thing that would make this experience better is if the players I'm battling weren't named Jupinka, Srebro, Longood, etc.

Most would probably say I'm the underdog in this race, but just being a part of the race is a rip.

Good luck everybody. These last two and a half weeks should be a blast!

Glenn
