Is Bumgarner injured and I can't find any news on it? I see that some people, including the owner in 3rd place in the DP overall, has exchanged out another pitcher for Bumgarner for the Friday roster change. It's my understanding that Bumgarner is scheduled to pitch on Thursday and the rule is supposed to allow changes only when the pitcher is on the DL as of Friday. Can someone help me out here?

No, Bumgarner is not hurt. Please list all of the teams (and events) where you see Bumgarner switched out. Are some people gaming the system somehow to get two starts out of two different pitchers???

Ryan:

At the deadline, I attempted to switch

Bumgarner to the bench and pitch Slowey. However,

it didn't appear to accept the change. I'm assuming I didn't beat the deadline because Bumgarner remained active. However, Slowey appeared active for the second half of the week? I've adjusted him back to the bench.

Why the Fanball software would allow this is unknown to me? However, Bumgarner is locked as my starter for the week.

Hopefully Greg will get a chance to go over this with the programmers. I'll drop him a note.

Ken / Sack & Chip I Ken's lineup has been adjusted with Bumgarner as the starting pitcher for the full week as he had before the deadline. I'm not sure why it allowed the move for the weekend, but obviously it was made after the 7 pm ET deadline and this was being reflected for the Friday change. But Bumgarner is not on the DL and thus he remains active all week with Slowey on the bench all week.

Sorry for the confusion here.

Ken-

Thanks for the explanation, I figured it had to be something like that. Certainly a glitch. Good luck in the final week.

Greg:

Thanks for taking care of this issue. Bumgarner should be active and it is clear that I cannot pitch both. Appreciate the help.

Ryan:

No sweat, with so much on the line over the next 13 days I certainly understood your concern. I had actually logged in and was able to correct the issue before reading your post. Best of luck DOWN the stretch, it has been a fun battle.
