Looks like 2 separate issues are being discussed on this thread.
1. Should HOF start now or wait until 10 years have been completed?
I side with Greg on this one. Enough results have been obtained over the 7 years and show that an elite group exists. Also, not to be morbid, but I'm guessing the median age of NFBC player exceeds 50 and it would be nice to recognize people for their performance before they or the folks who know them start keeling over.
2. Criteria for selection (Money winnings vs broad array of excellence in various leagues, etc.)
As the Main Event is the common denominator in the NFBC, I suggest that anyone demonstrating supreme excellence in this competition (i.e., 4 league titles) is in. Other players who have had good success in the Main Event combined with multiple wins in some other format should also get the nod.

Not suggesting anyone in particular. All I know is that since I've resumed working out, I am suffering near-death experiences three times per week.
I feel like I'm the Jerry Quarry of the NFBC.

I wanted to bump up this thread again because the past history for our NFBC Hall of Fame candidates are within this thread and it is worthy info. I'll have an announcement on the NFBC Hall of Fame next. Thanks all.
