Fence Sitters Special II

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Mar 04, 2004 2:48 am

Okay, I've looked around the office and come up with some last goodies for our Fence Sitters. We have two dozen Pete Rose autographed baseballs left here from our deal we had with the Hit King in our sports collectibles business and I'll give those to the next 24 signups. I hate to reward those who wait, but we have the items and we want you in the NFBC. Join what is going to be a first-class event/contest with a bunch of first-class individuals competing for the biggest grand prize in the fantasy baseball industry, and get a free autographed Pete Rose ball as well.

This is the last of my blue light specials as you're cleaning my desk off of the last autographed items I have. And no, you can never have my Brett Favre autographed mini-helmet. ;) ;)

Sign up online to guarantee a spot in the NFBC and a Pete Rose autographed baseball. If you call me at 715-445-4612, ext. 284 please leave a message as I'm traveling to Phoenix and will check voice messages from the road. I will get back to you, I promise. If you REALLY need me, try my cell phone at 715-570-3036, but realize you may be interrupting me at a spring training ballgame. ;) ;)

Wow Greg-more giveaways!-I should have held out with Scott just a few days more and we would have had something! I am sure you're getting that a lot from us "early" signers-you can send me a hit king ball on the side... I won't tell anyone. That's 211 Cassville Road, Jackson, NJ 08527!! Anyway, how many total teams are in the mix now inching ever closer to 200, 225, 250? Jeff Goeke

Like I said, I hate to reward those who wait, but we've come too far to not do everything we can over these last 10 days to get the best of the best into this competition. If that means someone else gets a goodie gift that you didn't get, so be it. You can win the big prize at the end of the year and still feel good.

There is a LOT of interest in our final spots for the NFBC. It should be a fun, fun last 10 days of signups and hopefully the Pete Rose balls will help.

Okay, we're down to our last 10 Pete Rose autographed baseballs for anyone who signs up for the NFBC draft or Auction Leagues. Pete is also going to be in Chicago at the Sun-Times show on Saturday, March 20th at the Rosemont Convention Center, right where our guys will be drafting. He's done signing at 1 p.m., so we're trying to get him to just pop in and say hi as he works with our sports collectibles division.

But even if that doesn't happen, you have a chance to win a Pete Rose baseball now if you sign up. Ten more on my desk and then that's it. Thanks and good luck everyone.

Wow... too bad I signed up early....Pete Rose was my all time favorite player growing up. How can I get an autographed ball?
Of all the things I lost.....I miss my mind the most. Ozzy

Get a friend to sign up and then steal it from him!! ;) ;) Nah, I'm just trying to do everything I can to convince all those people sitting on the fence to come over and play on our field. I hope all of those who signed up early can understand that.
