$1300 NYC Auction
Already trying to decide what contests and events I'll be participating in this year as I will definitely cutting back a bit to provide a bit more focus on whatever I enter.
Although extremely interested in entering this league last year, a scheduling conflict prevented it.
Curious if this will be offered again in 2010, the date it will be offered, and if it'll once again be part of the Auction Championships or will be its own independent league.

If demand is there for this format again, yes to all of the above. It provided more entertainment for the 15 participants in New York and it remained part of the Auction Championship. It worked for everyone. This was held on Friday at 4 pm ET last year and can be offered at that time again, possibly at the same location.

This league is fun. We usually have at least 10 returning owners every year. I know I can expect to see Gekko, Spyhunter, poopy tooth, etc.

Greg, you can put me down for this as my first 2011 league if you decide you want to offer it now. It sounds like it would likely fill.
Thanks,
Glenn

If this is offered again for 2011, can it be made a 12pm or 1pm start? This way if someone wants to do a second contest that day, it's available. With a 4pm start and how long an auction sometimes takes, you're pretty much locked into the one event for the day.

Glenn We offered a Live Double Play and another auction at 10 am in New York last year for those who want to do two events. That will be the plan again this year Glenn. I'll start this event on the signup thread shortly. Thanks for getting it started.

The auction was probably my favorite draft format last year hands down for both baseball & football. The intensity is so much greater, but so is the control of how you build your team. Hopefully this year I do a little better.
I think I learned a couple things last year and I'm looking forward to applying those lessons.
So as long as I'm going to definately be in it again, I may as well join the premier offering of it.
Also, with Mark likely Vegas bound this year, that'll open up another cash spot for the rest of us.
Thanks for offering this again this year.

Looks like we're at four for this and climbing with Spyhunter & RT Davis joining up. Quick, let's get 11 more before Gekko realizes this is filling up.

even if i get my check tomorrow, i don't know what leagues i will sign up for. i will likely re-evaluate some things come Jan/Feb and make a decision. kick'n around the 5K auction. kick'n around some other ideas too.
also, i don't see myself drafting at citifield again (in the middle of nowhere).
in any event, i'm sure you guys will fill the league even if i pass.
