We are currently working on the NFBC site and hope to have that live very soon. Registration is the first step so that folks can secure their spots and plan their draft trips. We have most of the draft sites secured and I will start a new thread shortly about that, but a few are still up in the air. Still, we feel good enough about each city that we're almost ready to roll those out.
After that we'll unveil our Slow Draft software and get the drafting season underway. The IT guys are still developing that, but hopefully we'll have that by the end of next week or so. We took plenty of suggestions from you folks and are incorporating all of those into the new draft software. I think we'll have email and text responses to each pick and we're working on creating separate auto-pick lists for multiple rounds. All of the suggestions we received will make this the best Slow Draft software in the industry. I think this will lead to more Slow Draft leagues and convince me to create a Slow Draft DC National Contest.
After that we have several game-site enhancements that will be done to improve your in-season experience. I don't want to say for sure all of these will be done, but right now the IT department feels very confident that we'll have these done. Some of those enhancements include:
1. Real-time standings to Live Scoring. This is our biggest enhancement that we have planned, but we feel we can do this not only for the NFBC but for other Fanball commissioner products. Adding this along with sortable Live Scoring categories would be a great, great addition. Like we had with STATS, this would likely be updated every 5 minutes or so, but would be a great addition to our back-end software. John's team is excited about this feature and I know all of you are too. It's that instant drug you all crave!!

2. All names in FAAB drop-down menu will be alphabetized by last name.
3. We can default upon opening free agents to All Hitters, not Catchers. It will take longer to load the data initially, but you've asked for it and we will change it.
4. We are working on Lifetime Standings for the NFBC Classic now and will have that displayed before the season begins.
5. We can add Games Started (GS) for pitchers.
6. We are looking into improving the Search tool so that you can click on a player and find out if he's a free agent or on another team in your league. Again, not a sure thing, but we know this is warranted.
7. We will look at the Live Scoring feature during doubleheaders and see if we can retain those first game stats on a separate line. Currently they disappear once the second game of a doubleheader disappears.
8. We will look at the Set Roster default timetable. Currently after rosters are locked it defaults your page to the next set roster timetable. Some folks have asked that the current week's matchups stay there. We are looking at a possible solution here so that folks still know how to set their next starting lineup easily.
9. We need to add owners' names to the overall standings pages under NFBC Resources. We currently just have team names and need to add the owners to each team.
10. We will look into adding avatars.
11. Friday roster deadlines will be similar to Monday's this year, allowing owners to set starting lineups of players in day games separately with a final deadline of 6:55 pm ET for all players in night games.
We have some other items we'll look into, but these were some of the most common requests. We think that we can get to all or most of these this off-season, which will make the entire game experience better for NFBC players. I'll share more updates as we move forward. Thanks all.
