Bellagio Room Blocks For March

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Dec 16, 2010 3:17 am

Okay, I don't have a signed contract yet for the Bellagio but at this point it looks like we are definitely going to be there for both March weekends. They have set up a room block for us and the rooms are more expensive than last year at the Bellagio. But honestly, with so many major conventions in town that month rooms are expensive most everywhere this year in Las Vegas. Sorry folks.

Also, we have very limited space for Las Vegas's Main Event the second weekend as well. At one time we can fit eight leagues there, so the first 120 signups are guaranteed spots in Las Vegas. I have no idea what we'll do if more than that plan on being there. We just don't have the convention space for more, so don't delay if you're planning to draft in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 26th. It's just the facts this year.

Here's the rates and the group code:

1/ March 14 -20, 2011 with weekday rate $199 - weekend $ 239 - GROUP CODE: FANFIR

2/ March 21-29, 2011 at $239 per night - GROUP CODE: FANSEC

Now, this is only good through Jan. 9th. On Jan. 10th the room block disappears and additional fees are added for some services that are guaranteed under that price. It's your call if you want to stay at the Bellagio or not, but we have a very limited room block and it is only for the next few weeks so proceed accordingly. You can stay anywhere you want in Las Vegas, but if you want to stay at the host hotel book your rooms now.

Good luck all and leave one room for me!! :D

Folks, I'm hearing from some of my customers that the Bellagio has not cut off our room block special rate yet, so if you are still planning to compete in Las Vegas this year and want to stay at the beautiful Bellagio use our special group code as soon as you can. This is a great value and I hear that if you stay until Monday the regular room rate is $169.

Good luck and spread the word.

Not sure what the 169 was referring to, but I was unable to get it just now. I was able to get the 199 weekday and 239 on weekends however.

I need to hit the insane asylum going to Vegas for 11 days. Going to be a fun time to be there with March madness and a bunch of drafts going on though.

Three days is my max, although I can do back to back 3 day weekends, but that is pushing it Bigtime!!!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Okay, we have GREAT NEWS for NFBC owners who are coming to Las Vegas for March Draft Day. Our room block for both weekends at the Bellagio has been extended through Feb. 14th. Contact the Bellagio now to get your room if you want to stay at the Bellagio. That second weekend it sure looks like we have a lower rate at the Bellagio than other area hotels are offering as that is a very, very busy weekend in Vegas.

Call these numbers and ask for the code below:

Telephone:

Room Reservations: 888-987-6667

General Information: 702-693-7111

Here's the rates and the group code:

1/ March 14 -20, 2011 with weekday rate $199 - weekend $ 239 - GROUP CODE: FANFIR

2/ March 21-29, 2011 at $239 per night - GROUP CODE: FANSEC

Damn, I called last week and they told me the rate was not available for Thursday the 24th (only the 25th) so we booked elsewhere.

They said the same thing to Clum back in January before the first deadline. I called, was able to insist nicely and eventually got the good rate for the entire stay, including Thursday.

I am not sure what their issue is, but all I can suggest to anyone who tries between now and the 14th is be nice, but firm.

My wife just got an email because she signed up online for the Bellagio website or something and got the Sunday rate for March 27th at $135.20. This is the 2nd time I have changed the reservation. The first time we lowered it to $169 from the original block rate. The code is B20Mar if you want to try it. You do have to pay a $22.40 resort fee which gives you internet access and excercise facilities.
