The baseball off-season is a time of hope and excitement for all of us. We're all in first place and we all look forward to warmer days, box scores and a few days at the ol' ballpark. In the NFBC, we all hope for that perfect season where we can draft a Jose Bautista-type in the late rounds, find a Buster Posey-type along the way and anchor that staff with a Ubaldo Jimenez grab. It's a time to dream of that $100,000 payday and maybe more!!
But as I sit here at the computer today, I'm happy to see three kids playing nicely on the Wii with presents under the tree, a few surprise presents for all and the cat and dog happily sleeping inside, far from the snowpiles outside!!

Christmas is a time for family. Thank God for good health, the freedom we enjoy and the close friends we all have. All of them have helped me through the past year and during some rough times, and now it's time to say thanks. Happy holidays everyone and get ready for a great 2011!!
