Absolutely love my starters but a little shaky in the pen, although saves always wind up on the free agent list. Offense is thin but alot of upside guys. Alot of downside too.

Love the starters - Josh, Barry & Jeremy are all solid and bargains if you got them after the eight round. I also like your young Mets, but they looked to have went too early. Only two guys that I would have taken in the first four rounds. You put this team together next year and your in the $.

I hear ya Head. Like I said, guys like Reyes, Wright, Morneau, Bonderman and Kazmir can be huge this year, but its a definite gamble.

Whoever #3 and #4 picks were they look too soon (I'd assume Reyes and Wright, who would be good in the 5th or 6th).

Agreed KJ, but I didnt think Wright or Reyes would be around after the 4th. I also think Wright is going to be a beast this year and Reyes will swipe 60-70 bases. I know its a longshot, but thats my feeling. On the other hand, a staff with Bonderman as the 4th and Petitte as the 5th is rock solid, in my humble opinion.

I agree that Wright will be good, but my guess is Chipper may have been there still and I would prefer him on numbers and because of position eligibility and track record/lower risk. Even if Wright comes thru huge, the odds of him being much better if at all than Chipper aren't that good IMO.
Reyes I like too, but 60-70 SB ??? Especially with his leg problems, that sounds like a VERY VERY longshot.
Bonderman and Pettite, again could be good producers, but also high risk bec of age/experience for Bonder and injury for Petitte.
Your team lacks seasoning, and whereare a few of your high risk guys will no doubt come thru, the odds of even half of the 14 or 15 coming thru aren't that good. I think you lack a core of guys that can be depended on.
Kinda like a stock portfolio - its good to have a few speculative picks mixed into the portfolio, but too much speculation will kill you except for perhaps that once in a lifetime chance when everything lines up just perfectly. You've got an internet portfolio, pray for a bubble!

You could easily back out so I wouldnt agree to that. If you told him not to charge the card he'd be forced not to, even if we had a bet. You have a problem with Greg holding the money(assuming he is willing)?

Someone needs to hold the money to guarentee payment. Since im a guarenteed winner, id need that assurance. If you have a way to accomplish that, im in.

Didn't you guys ALREADY put up $1250 each that you would finish better than the other? After all, aren't we all playing to win the whole enchilada?
Whoever finishes higher than the other can laugh about it alllllllllllll offseason.

Like I said, what stops you from backing out? I doubt a signed contract for a bet would be legal or binding, but ill call Greg whenh he gets back and ask him.
