THREE SPOTS LEFT For NFBC Ultimate Auction League

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Jan 27, 2011 9:16 am

We've had a nice push recently for the NFBC Ultimate Auction League on Sunday, March 27th and I'm surprisingly happy to report that we have only FIVE SPOTS LEFT!! This is a fun, annual private league where the league champ earns $40,000. Will Tyrer is the defending champion, while David Longood has won this title three times.

The Ultimate Auction League will be held at the Bellagio Las Vegas on Sunday, March 27th starting at 4 pm PT. This was a fun, fun auction last year with Wayne Gretzky's fantasy camp hosting its awards banquet next door. Wayne was right outside our conference room on the adjoining patio deck, which was pretty cool. The ultimate NHL player was next door to the Ultimate Auction League!! :D

Okay, if you'd like to secure a final spot in this league let me know. I'll take care of that first and worry about payment later. We will ask all of the participants to pay by check if possible as that allows us to pay all of you a higher percentage. This year we have raised the Ultimate League payback to 90 percent and will figure out the additional $2,500 we are providing later on. Some requests have been made for a fourth place prize of $2,500, while we are also considering $1,500 more for second place and $1,000 more for third place. We'll figure that out soon.

Here's the current signup list and post here if you'd like to join this group or sign up online:
