New York $1,300 Auction Is SOLD OUT

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Wed Feb 02, 2011 3:31 am

We are planning for nine Auction leagues in the second annual NFBC Auction Championship and right now we are right on plan. Let's keep this momentum going everyone. Please secure your spots when you can because auction leagues obviously need a perfect 15 teams in each city and we might have to close off registrations for certain cities once we fill up.

With that in mind, keep a close eye on the New York $1,300 Auction Championship League at Citi Field. Last year owners in that area asked if we would increase the entry fee and league prizes if there were enough interested owners while still keeping this as part of the national NFBC Auction Championship. We did that and that league worked out very, very well. The auction was held in the Promenade Room overlooking Citi Field and we'll again have that same setup on Friday, March 25th at 5 pm ET.

We currently have 12 owners who have agreed to this setup, which means we have just THREE SPOTS LEFT!! Sign up soon or let me know at [email protected] as soon as you can if you want to get into this league. Thanks all.

Here's the current signup list for this league. Thanks all.

NEW YORK

Friday, March 25, 5 pm ET ($1300 entry fee; higher league prizes)

1. Jason Duponte, Waltham, Massachusetts

2. Chris Throop, New York, New York

3. Dan Mitlof, Congers, New York

4. RT Davis, Wichita, Kansas

5. Roy Ericson, Wayne, New Jersey

6. Emilio Cutaneo, Freehold, New Jersey

7. Larry Schechter, Rexford, New York

8. David Deterra, Jamestown, Rhode Island

9. Ante Meich, Bayside, New York

10. Anson Chan, Fort Lee, New Jersey

11. Jay Bufis, Kendall Park, New Jersey

12. Alan Greenberg, Hamden, Connecticut

Got it Jason. You're in for both ends of the auction doubleheader. Should be fun.

Okay, the $850 Auction Championship League at Citi Field on Friday, March 25th starting at 10 am ET is now full. I don't think we'll try for another league at that time. If anything, we'll try for a Sunday, March 27th 1 pm ET Auction Championship in New York. Think about that date if you still want to compete in this format. Thanks all.
