Live Double Play Will Host A Few Online Drafts

We have had a lot of people requesting and online version for the $525 Live Double Play format and we will oblige. We don't want to take away from our live 12-team drafts and we sure hope to equal or surpass the 20 live drafts we held last year, but it's important to give everyone a shot at this double payment, thus the name of the event: Double Play. So here's what we'll do:

Starting with the new Registration page, we'll add an Online option for drafting in the Live Double Play. They will be live drafts, just online. I will offer them at the same times of the live events along with a few other times. Here's the schedule:

NFBC Live Double Play

$525 per team, chance to win $50,000 & $20,000

Drafts held online, 12-team leagues

Monday, March 14th, 9 pm ET

Tuesday, March 15th, 7 pm ET

Friday, March 18th, 7 pm ET

Sunday, March 20th, 1 pm ET

Monday, March 21st, 7 pm ET

Tuesday, March 22nd, 9 pm ET

Friday, March 25th, 7 pm ET

Sunday, March 27th, 1 pm ET

Monday, March 28th, 7 pm ET

We are likely looking for only 1 league per night so that the Online Double Play continues to excel in its current format. But I think this will allow all folks to now have a shot at both ends of the Double Play prize pool. greg ..does this new double play change the odss of winning?...i.e. 240 teams compete for $20,000 and 780 teams competing for $50,000 ?

I'm playing in the Live Double Play in LV Wkend 1. Can you tell me the league payout structure and what type of overall contests this qualifies for?

It would only change the odds if we went above 240 for the Live Double Play. Then the Live Double Play overall grand prize would go up and the $50,000 grand prize would go up if we also went above 780. Right now we have a long ways to go to make that happen, but these events seem to fill up as we enter March. Thanks all and let's get this event moving soon.
