If everyone is as excited about these drafts as it looks now, we should cruise through several early rounds and make this work. Thanks all.

Greg,

Based on the length of some Slow Drafts already completed, I think it’s very reasonable to think that 1 or more of these drafts will not be completed before the Opening Day (41 days from today, 37 from Monday). Especially considering people will be traveling for live drafts and taking spring break vacations. I hope they all go fast, but past precedent suggest otherwise.

I know you don’t want to talk about that possibility, but maybe you should consider setting some rules in case it does happen. Remember, we are not just talking about individual leagues, there is an overall contest to consider.

I would rather hear a final statement about these leagues before they start instead of “let’s just see how they play out” and make a decision then.

Have to say I am NOT worried about the speed of the $1000 SLOW DRAFT. That group will most likely FLY!!!!

Hopefully, we can tear through some rounds in the next 10 days.

It's possible Mike M slows us down a bit. That open mouth tends to create a lot of drag ;)

I think we ought to try to establish a couple of times, maybe on weekends, when we can get together to plow through rounds. One thing that could happen if we draft through to the regular season (the $150 draft I just completed took 39 days) is that owners would take more time hoping that some significant news would occur during their 10 hours. And this would obviously slow things down and create frustration.

Hang tight a bit and once we get the leagues ready to start drafting everyone will be sent an email to let them know the leagues are ready to begin. We'll get you in for sure at that point.

John, your league hasn't been set up yet which is why you have not received an email.
