Slow Draft League #9

Any of you guys interested in getting together and making sure we get the draft done on time...

IE...getting all together a few nights a week to get as many rounds done as possible?

Possibly ask Greg to do the draft via email or on forums?

Just gauging the league...

Let's try to start our draft on the forums or email to get a good start.

I am team # 9 in Slow Draft # 9. I would be on board with starting in this forum or by email, and then we can enter the same picks in whenever the site goes live. I would do it on 2 conditions:

1. All 15 owners agree that when we go live we will enter the exact picks that we entered in this forum / email. If you take Miggy # 2, and then he checks into the Betty Ford clinic for 6 months, you have man (or woman) up, and make that pick.

2. Post from Greg agreeing that he will enforce all email / forum picks made in the unlikely event that there is a problem.

If we all agree on that, no reason why we can't get rolling now.

A suggestion-

Start a thread under 'League Forum' titled 'Slo Draft #9', folks can also make picks there and the draft can be updated there as well. I've run into some folks that do not like to give out e-mail addresses for some reason, this would appease them.
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

That makes sense to me if we get everyone on board. We actually did an entire football auction in one of those forums, and survived.

I'm (team #8) generally around in the evenings to help knock out a bunch of rounds at once.

I'm team 13 and ready to go. Should be widely available this week...next week in Vegas, will do my best from there. Hey Cornhusker, we're practically neighbors.

Greg or Tom any shot we can do this on the forums and make the picks official if you can get the ok from the league owners that have not replied to this thread?

I just opened up a new post in the "League Forum" section where we can post our picks. If the player with pick # 1 is on board, he can post there and then we'll be off and rolling.

I am in this league and willing to start early, but think that the Royals have a better chance of winning the World Series than getting everyone on board and picking before Monday when the real deal starts.
