If you do have any problems logging in today to the site or don't see your Slow Draft teams after you do log in, contact me at . There might be some firewall or security issues that we have to deal with. A handful of folks are having a few issues that we're dealing with on an individual basis. So reach out to me and we'll solve these.
Thanks and good luck all. I see a few picks have been made already, but no Miggy Cabrera yet. It should be interesting to see when he goes.

I noticed in the chat room that anything with a "#" will be truncated..example...
Typed "you're picking #2" came out as "you're picking"...anyone else notice this?

The issues with some of the logins are IE7 problems. That is definitely an older version of Internet Explorer and you can upload a newer version very easily. The draft room definitely supports Internet Explorer, but this old version is causing the problems. Upgrade now, add Firefox or Google Chrome or I think we may continue to have problems here. Thanks.
Also, guys are anxious to draft and some folks will definitely be around tonight to keep picking if you're around. Feel free to post your availability in the league Chat Room if you can and I think we'll get through a few rounds today. Thanks all and enjoy.

For those folks in the Draft Room, you probably already can see that each player has stats next to their name. They are not 2011 projections, rather they are stats from 2010. And you can sort each stat category for the available players.
One other note of interest: Pitchers are all listed under P, yet you can sort by saves if you're looking for top relievers. All includes All Hitters, not All Players. So you will need to click on Pitchers when you are looking for those. Feel free to set up your que appropriately with this in mind. Thanks and good luck.

Just to let you know, I'm using Mozilla so that may be why the chat room isn't picking up all the characters.

Look at Max's $1,000 Slow Draft League. Already 10 picks into it already!!
I don't think that one will wait long between picks. Good job all.
Other leagues are also 8 or 9 picks into it. Good job everyone. Keep going and don't be afraid to hang out a night or two and really get through some rounds. Good job by all so far.

Is there a plan if we don't finish by Opening Day? Are we just crossing our fingers and hoping everything works out? Will we just keep on drafting? How or does the potential for drafts continuing into April effect the Slow Draft Overall contest?
Don't get me wrong, I hope everyone finishes. I would just like to hear a plan if we don't. Even if the answer is - we'll finish when we finish. It's better for all of us to know now rather than later.

It's better for all of us to know now rather than later.
We need to finish all of these Slow Drafts by Opening Day so that nobody has an advantage over another league or player. We will have to push everyone in all of these slower leagues to finish by March 31st even if we have to push the draft times shorter than 10 hours during that last week. We can't have these continue past Opening Day.
That being said, if we see leagues not being done in 30 days then we'll be pro-active well before March 31st and push owners to get things moving. I'm not going to start any Slow Draft Leagues after March 1st, so I think 4+ weeks is plenty of time even with live drafts inbetween. Everyone signing up for these realize they have to be ready to make picks even if they are on the road for drafts or vacation. So we have to keep these moving.
The plan is to push everyone to finish by Opening Day. All leagues must be finished for us to enter them into the system, so there is no other choice. They can't set their starting lineups until the drafts are done, so they have to be done. They have to be done. They have to be done. I can't say it any other way.
They will all be finished even if we have to push the slower leagues to finish with quicker last round picks. They must be in the system.

emails still not working properly, I've only received 1 email when 9 picks have been made.
Also had about a 40 min holdup because there is no sound notification when its your pick, and the owner didn't realize he was up. Any chance we can get something in for that?
Thanks.

Great job everyone jumping into the Slow Drafts yesterday. We are missing just one owner in a $150 Slow Draft League and I'm doing all I can to get him logged in now. One other owner was travelling yesterday and had his pick take 10 hours, but I'm trying to get his next pick now and get that league rolling again. One league is already in the third round and a few others are nearing the end of the second round. Good job all.
It looks like it took just a few minutes for everyone to familiarize themselves with the draft software and things are working well. We just fixed the email snafu and have that monitored now so it doesn't happen again. I think we're rolling and please take charge in those draft rooms and ask everyone to stay on alert. Getting a few phone numbers/text options wouldn't hurt either. Good stuff all and it's time to analyze some of the data. Where did Miggy go? I'll let you know soon.
Good job all. We're back in business.
