Officially Welcome Tom To The NFBC!!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Feb 22, 2011 11:14 am

Okay, Tom aced his interview on Monday and he was the best candidate for the job!! He's been hired to officially join the NFBC!! :D

Tom is now set up with a new email: [email protected]. Someone email him to make him feel wanted!! :D His phone number stays the same at 715-254-5559 and our office number stays the same at 715-445-2906. We remain in the Man Cave in Iola!! :D Heck, we've even mended our ways with Brett Favre now that the Packers have won the Super Bowl by putting up an autographed 16x20" photo of Brett on the walls.

Tom's official title is Manager of High-Stakes Fantasy Games, STATS LLC. Sounds good.

Again, we really believe we can be the home of the best pay fantasy games in the industry and we are starting with the NFBC and NFFC. We have a lot of work to become the leader, but I like our plan with STATS behind all of this. It should be a fun ride.

Welcome aboard Tom and thanks for coming in yesterday when you could have taken the day off for a holiday. That shows true dedication. ;)

Oddly enough, they were all about parallel parking.

Ok, stupid question... about new email addresses. Is it the first initial and last name @stats.com?

Thanks,

John

It's about time. For a second there, I was wondering who was gonna run the show in AC & Citifield.

Congrats Tom, I like the new title. Still, I think Grand Emperor of High Stakes Drafts would have had a slightly cooler ring to it.

Congrats, Tom!

This may have been answered elsewhere, but what about Geoff?
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

This may have been answered elsewhere, but what about Geoff? Geoff is not a fulltime employee with us at this point, but we hope to get him on board to hire him for the March online drafts. He's obviously No. 1 on our list and a big part of what we do here, but with the uncertainty in the NFL it's tough to add personnel now. Still, I stated earlier that it's our goal to be the leader in the fantasy pay games area and if things go as planned I hope Geoff would consider working with us again. He knows how we feel about him and he remains a key part of the NFBC.
