Okay, here's the official welcome to our new NFBC site. And dammit, it's the last time we're moving, I PROMISE!!

The NFBC site at nfbc.stats.com is NOW OFFICIALLY OPEN FOR BUSINESS!! Registration is live, Message Boards are live, drafts are live. Let's GET IT ON!!

Sorry Glenn, your initial welcome post was accidentally deleted!! But you get the honor of making the first post on this new site nonetheless. We won't hit that switch again!!

Okay, a few housecleaning notes:

** Sorry about the 7-hour switch from the Fanball site to the STATS site with the Message Boards. We had to transfer 7+ years of good posts and stupid posts and honestly the stupid posts really bogged down the system.

Shame on all of you that had stupid posts since 2004. That caused the delay.

But the entire Message Board history is here and while it took longer than we expected, it's here.

** Some people still can't log into the boards and it's because we are still running all of that. Give it through tonight to complete for everyone. It's a long, long process because these are old, old boards, but everyone should have access shortly. If you can't wait, Register again using a new name and email and then contact Tom at [email protected] to get approved to the boards. But all logins should work by tomorrow.

** Registration is now open for business, thankfully. That has been turned off for 15+ days and it's been rough on our business. But everyone can log in now by going to HOME, click on Signups and an easy-to-use signup page will appear. It's a great page and you can sign up for multiple events by clicking on Add A New League and do that for as many leagues or online drafts as you'd like and then hit Submit.

** The old Fanball site is now dead. It's the end of an era. We are now officially live with STATS and ready to move forward. Registration is live. Message Boards are live. Drafts are live. Thanks for your patience all and let's move forward together. All is good again.

Welcome back. It's like you never left. Now let's get busy.

Thanks for finding us all. We are redirecting the old nfbc.fanball.com site to here tomorrow morning and the link to the old boards should redirect right here as well. Once we have all of that done hopefully we can have everyone in one home.

We can tweak the look of these boards as we move forward, whether it's touching the type size or colors or whatever. But the main thing today getting all of the data over here. This was a huge, huge project today and thank goodness it's done. It's unreal how much progress we've made in the last five days.

We also have opened Registration today and that is working beautifully. We will need everyone who signed up on the nfbc.fanball.com site to reset their KDS settings because none of those came over with the other data. We also have to address how you can enter your credit card information and if we'll have insurance for those who pay via check for the live events. We're still working through all of that and will announce details soon.

Okay, I'll update as I remember things. And support the cause when you know your schedules and want to compete in the NFBC this year.

We need and look forward to your support!!!

One more update: The NFFC boards are still being transferred over and hopefully will be done today. I know some folks are also checking out the NFFC site and like this one, all of the data is being transferred over to the new URL. We haven't gone away due to the labor strife, we're just moving to the new site.

Okay, it's been a strange transfer over the last 24 hours. Here's why:

Apparently when we transferred the Message Boards from the old site to the new one, it was taking some folks to a test site that unfortunately had plenty of spam and didn't update current posts. It apparently takes 24 hours or so for the old URL to burn out or transfer and thus some of you will be coming over to the real boards throughout the day. Sorry for the confusion and sorry about landing on a test board that didn't have full spam blockers, but hopefully you are here now.

The Fanball Message Boards and Home page are now both redirecting everyone over here. Hopefully we'll be as one soon again.

I know that some people are still having trouble logging into the Message Boards as the site won't recognize their login. We had so many members that I know it was taking a very long time to load everyone in and I'm hopeful that through tonight it will be done. But if it still doesn't recognize you tomorrow, then you may have to create a new Message Board login. Sorry. This is old software and we are kind of limited in what we can do here if we want to keep this familiar software.

Hopefully it will recognize everyone soon.
