Please Set Your KDS Settings For Each League

Just a heads up that everyone who signed up previously for NFBC events on the nfbc.fanball.com and set their KDS settings will need to do that again. The only set of data that wasn't able to be transferred from the Fanball site was the KDS settings for each league. That was set up differently, so please take the time to do that before we select draft picks before each event/contest.

Right now each league is defaulted 1-15. Just click on the link for any of your teams under Home, My Teams after you are logged into the NFBC site. Draft Preferences are on the left side and just click on Edit Preferences. There you will see a nice, easy-to-understand horizontal listing that are set 1 to 15. It also says Most Desired to Least Desired so that there is no confusion.

I edited for KDS purposes, but the edited version does not show on the page which has the link to edit the settings. Is that a problem?

How long before a league draft is the KDS deadline?

I have a question regarding the KDS page. I set my KDS rankings and noticed on my team page there are two columns. Rank on the left and Draft Position on the right. The rank is what I set as my actual KDS preferences. But when the two columns are lined up side by side, it is confusing. For example, if my 1st preference in my KDS rankings is 2, it lines up horizontally with Draft Position 1 on the right. So does this mean that I have draft position 2 as my top choice or does this mean that Draft position 1 is my 2nd choice? I realize this is confusing to explain. Hopefully you will understand with the example below:

My team page isn't correct. It lists some teams that I don't have and doesn't list all the teams I do have.

Understandable since all the registrations were pretty much made through the message boards rather than the registration page, but once it's corrected I'll load all my KDS preferences.

Let me know if you need me to do anything (send an e-mail?) to update what I'm registered for and I'll send it today.

We'll perfect the KDS selections this week and look at everyone's signups shortly. We may need some of you to add teams you already signed up for on the Fanball site and we need to delete some of those Slow Draft links that are showing on a lot of owner pages. Just let us work through much of the rest of this and finish up an Admin site that will allow us to do all of this and more.

Next up for us is getting the pay process set up because if we don't start charging folks soon we're going to be broker than the state of Wisconsin!!

Stay tuned for that process this week and we'll start pulling some of that hard-earned money from you folks!!

I have the same issue as Bobby (above). Is it just as simple as the columns are labelled backwards? Also, my multiple teams are not put into leagues on the "My Teams" page, so I don't know which of my Double Play teams I'm setting KDS for...

Cheers! I have IT looking at Bobby's question above and we'll get that straightened out. We have some updating to do on the My Teams page as well and need to get all of those leagues identified for you folks so that you can set KDS appropriately. Dates for satellite leagues and other events need to be next to the team links.

The early Slow Drafts will be loaded soon so that we can get everyone in the system and eventually paid again. We can't charge anyone until those are back in the system and I know a lot of folks are looking for those teams. But it's a little lower on the To Do list because those leagues don't require FAAB and we just have a few more items that are up on the ladder. But we'll get those 10 Slow Draft leagues loaded soon, I promise. Hang tight with us a bit if you can. Thanks.

We need to identify the dates of your leagues (i.e. March 19th Main Event, March 26th Main Event) and we need to delete those extra teams. It was a duplication of data that eventually came over from Fanball and thus some owners have multiple links to the same team. We need to eliminate one of each of those and we don't quite yet have the tools to do that. Hopefully in the next day or two we'll do that. Thanks all.
