WOW, WHAT A DAY!!! We now have over 385 Main Event signups and could hit 390 with two more signups on the first weekend and two more on the second weekend. We definitely will close out the first weekend at 150 teams and then we'll see what the second weekend looks like in each city. But we are definitely headed towards our SEVENTH STRAIGHT SELLOUT of the Main Event. Great job all.
We can't thank you enough. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
Now, who wants one of these last two spots on the first weekend and who wants to get us to 390 on the second weekend? We have less than a handful of guaranteed spots left. Let's do it. Thanks.

AMAZING: 390 Main Event Signups, Room For More?
I'm ECSTATIC to announce that we now have 150 teams for the Main Event the first week and 390 teams for both weekends, meaning we have SOLD OUT the Main Event for the seventh straight year!!! Just an amazing accomplishment when you consider everything that has happened this off-season!!
We are set with 10 leagues that first weekend and certainly won't add anymore there. Thanks to those 150 owners and I look forward to a great weekend of drafting in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, St. Louis and Online.
Greg Morgan grabbed the last Main Event spot on the second weekend, giving us 390 teams. We have five full leagues in New York, two in Chicago and three Online. We have 86 owners in Las Vegas, which means we currently have 5 full leagues and 11 owners that we could hook up via Online and Chicago. I'm fine with that.
But there is still a lot of time between now and later this week when we announce the draft spots, so we will keep Registration open and see if we can add one more league. Maybe we fill up this sixth league in Las Vegas and add to Chicago and the online to make that just one hookup. We've definitely had late signups in New York and maybe that expands to another full league. Either way, signups are still open and we'll see if we get closer or not. The first 390 owners are DEFINITELY guaranteed their spots and dnow we'll see what we can do after that. Sound good?
If we get to 405, additional prize money will be given to the overall prize pool. It will go in that overall pool between 2nd and 10th place. We'll decide that together later when we have the final number of teams. If we stay at 390 teams, obviously the prize pool is what is stated on the site now. It's all good either way.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! What a great year we have ahead of us. Let's keep moving forward and finish strong. Thanks everyone.

Congrats to both Greg and Tom! Considering all that has gone on this winter, it is truly a remarkable achievement to sell out your Main Event...with time to spare!

Greg, Tom congratulations on yet another sellout.
It's truly a testament to the trust you've built up in this community and to the games you've created that in a year where you've had so many early obstacles, you were still able to get to where you stand today.
You should be proud.

The old saying that "nice guys always finish last" certainly doesn't apply here,Greg, as both you and Tom are not only nice guys, but great guys. Both of you are the cream of the crop and I'm proud to be a player in this classy organization that you have built and continue to grow.Things will only get better from here on out in the NFBC with guys like you running the organization!!

Thanks for the nice comments all, but we're not sitting back just yet. We still have a bunch of leagues to fill up and I know there's still a bunch of fantasy players out there looking for good games to play in. I'd like to see us sell out the Double Plays before we get too crazy, so keep checking out those events everyone.
But I do agree: This is a testament to the group of players and now management we have in place here. As we've said before, we're not moving anymore. We're embedded as STATS employees going forward and we're excited to be part of this great, great team. Give us a full off-season to set up all of these contests after running a contest smoothly the year before and I think the sky is the limit. The uncertainty in this space with all that is going on and the NFL lockout and everything else is scary at times. Hopefully we can settle in and be a more stable source of your live events games going forward because I really like where we've landed.
Back to work we go. The Corona's and the high-fives can wait until we get together live in the various cities, but the heart-felt accolades still are very nice. Thanks everyone and it's all of you who made this happen, not us.

We do have a couple of people still interested in joining the Main Event on Saturday, March 26th, so feel free to sign up or let me know if you have some interest. I'll need to know before this weekend. Thanks all.
