We now have 128 teams signed up for the NFBC's Main Event on the first weekend, leaving us with SEVEN GUARANTEED SPOTS!! At 135 we won't be able to fill up each city perfectly, but we certainly have a chance to do that with two cities and then just combine the last two venues. That's the goal now as we are just one signup away from one full league in St. Louis and four signups away from a second full league in Atlantic City. Let's do it.

135 teams is a great number for the first weekend. If you're coming, get your name on the list NOW!! Time to close this weekend off and get the process started. Who wants one of the last available spots? Great job all and this is going to be a lot of fun. By adding the Online option for the first weekend, we certainly were able to accommodate a lot of players this year. Now let's get down to business.

We can't charge anyone yet for this league, but stay tuned to the check paying option this week that will come with insurance for one player, on us. Pay by check if you can because it could return some money for you (although having a top star injured for 60+ days isn't a good way to "earn" money). And if you want to pay by credit card, we should be able to process those later this week.

Okay, here's the current list for the first weekend and let's start the countdown now. I think we can get to 135 soon enough and then we'll see if there's any chance for a perfect 150 in all four venues. It's possible, but tough. Surprise me if you can!!!

Ted Jarzabek has taken the last spot in St. Louis for the Main Event and we are full there. Sorry to those who were also considering a quick venture there. WE'RE FULL!!!

That leaves us with SIX SPOTS LEFT for the first weekend. Let's fill up Atlantic City or the Online and see where that leaves us. Heck, maybe we can a late push for Las Vegas and finish with 150 teams that first weekend!! But only the next six owners are guaranteed spots as 135 teams would be nine full leagues. Thanks all.

Bill Strickler of Holiday, Florida has already won one national contest with us, earning the NFFC Primetime championship in 2009. Now we're glad he's back for this silly game on the diamond as well!!

Bill is taking Main Events Online both weekends, which moves us one step closer to a ninth full league on the first weekend. NICE!! We now have 131 teams that weekend, leaving us with just FOUR GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT!!! Thanks all. I see a good number coming that first weekend.

Let's welcome back the veteran NFBC tag team of Mark and Dennis Laronga of Flushing, New York to the Main Event in Atlantic City. We now have NINE FULL LEAGUES for the Main Event on Saturday, March 19th, a total of 135 teams in all. Nice job all and thanks. However, we still have more than a week before we announce draft picks and only St. Louis is a perfect 15. With that in mind, we'll keep this weekend open and see if we can get 15 more teams to finish at 150 teams that weekend. We are three signups away from a second full league in Atlantic City and two signups away from a third Online league. It would be ideal if we could close those out and Las Vegas for a perfect 150!!

Anyway, I think we can get close, so let's see if there are 15 more teams out there.

There's no guarantee we'll get to 150, so be aware of that. But let's keep pushing forward and we won't hit these last signups until we are guaranteed of a full league. The first 135 teams are definitely good to go.

Okay, we received two more signups for New Jersey and we're now headed to 150 teams for the first weekend. That's as high as we're going, so with 13 SPOTS LEFT it's time to get in or get left behind. We have one spot left in New Jersey and then we'll have two cities with full leagues. We have 50 owners in Las Vegas and finished with 55 there last year. Let's add more to that venue during the first weekend of March Madness.

We now have two full Main Event leagues in Atlantic City and 139 teams in all for the first weekend. We are still taking signups for AC and the other cities because anything can change, but boy if we got a late surge in Atlantic City every city could fill up perfectly!!

I'll keep hoping for that, but right now we'll take the next 11 signups and make this work. We're definitely headed to 150 teams that first weekend, so let's get it on!!!
