I actually really like this team. When I saw Victor and McCann with #3 and #4 I wasn't so sure but I really like what you did. Was there another closer option besides Nathan at that pick?

3 14 Victor Martinez C (1)(2) PUNCH - OK

4 2 Brian McCann C (1)(2) PUNCH - This is where it went wrong....IMO 4 picks and you have doubled up at 2 positions, missing out on players who could balance out your team. Ellsbury would make sense here.

5 14 David Price SP (1)(2) PUNCH - I'm not a fan of his as a SP1

6 2 Yovani Gallardo SP (1)(2) PUNCH - Solid SP2

7 14 Corey Hart RF (1)(2) PUNCH - Solid

8 2 Torii Hunter CF (1)(2) PUNCH - A little early. I wonder who was there at 3B and SS

9 14 Ian Desmond SS (1)(2) PUNCH - Good

10 2 Nick Swisher RF (1)(2) PUNCH - Early. Starting to reach the point where you can't take on too much batting avg risk. A judy OF would make sense at this point

11 14 Joe Nathan CL (1)(2) PUNCH - As spring goes he will move up. Good pick

12 2 Starlin Castro SS (1)(2) PUNCH - You now have locked up CI MI and C. Leaves you with less flexibility as draft goes on.

13 14 Jhoulys Chacin MR (1)(2) PUNCH - SP3 If his control improves your fine

14 2 Ian Kennedy SP (1)(2) PUNCH - Solid SP4, but I would be looking for that 2nd closer

15 14 Domonic Brown RF (1)(2) PUNCH - A little early. Great talent, but as of right now he is Triple A bound. AB's are key with an OF4. I would be looking to pair him with Francisco

16 2 Aroldis Chapman SP (1)(2) PUNCH - In 16th Rd he needs to pull a N.Feliz for you to make money on this pick

17 14 Nyjer Morgan CF (1)(2) PUNCH - Looks like you realized you were short on speed. I'm not a fan of his. Not sure he will see full time AB's

18 2 Javier Vazquez SP (1)(2) PUNCH - Best value so far.....IMO If he is working in the 91-92 range in a couple of weeks he will become your # 3

19 14 Placido Polanco 3B (1)(2) PUNCH - Punted 3B and at least he will not hurt your AVG. If you take a 3B earlier in draft, there was probably some more exciting players at this pick

20 2 Hideki Matsui DH (1)(2) PUNCH - He can still hit, but you are short on steals and needed a different skill set

21 14 Bud Norris MR (1)(2) PUNCH - Has upside, but needs to fix his control

22 2 James McDonald MR (1)(2) PUNCH - Good pick

23 14 Carlos Gomez CF (1)(2) PUNCH - Trying to make up speed. Could break out or could be more of the same.

24 2 Jeremy Guthrie SP (1)(2) PUNCH - Solid starter, no upside with K's . WW pitcher

25 14 Freddy Sanchez 2B (1)(2) PUNCH - He will be your MI if/when Desmond becomes eligible at 2B. He does nothing special

26 2 Jason Motte MR (1)(2) PUNCH - He might have the job before Chapman and you got him 10 Rds later. Good pick

27 14 Chris Narveson MR (1)(2) PUNCH - Would like to see upside here

28 2 Carlos Guillen 2B (1)(2) PUNCH - Going to lose AB's and injury risk which there is nothing wrong in 28th Rd. But what is his upside?

29 14 Chris Tillman MR (1)(2) PUNCH - He could be good, but if I'm taking 2 Orioles pitchers it's going to be 2 Leftys

30 2 Brad Penny SP (1)(2) PUNCH - Good pick to end the draft.

In a nutshell, you will be solid in hitting with exception to SB unless Gomez breaks-out and Brown gets full-time AB's. Most guys hit in premium spot in lineup.

Pitching is fine except for saves. You could get behind early if your 2 setup guys don't get the job. You could be on Waiver wire 1st week

There are better players on here that could give you their opinion about your team, but I couldn't sleep tonight and you asked...... :D

Was an interesting 1st 4 rounds. I personally wouldn't double up on positions twice in the 1st 4 rounds. I like the 4 guys you drafted there, but you definately left yourself hurting in other areas later in the draft. Speed could be ok if Gomez and Morgan pan out, that is a big if however. Morgan could lose serious playing time if starts out slow or gets caught stealing a ton like he did last year. Brown might start in the minors and who knows how many at bats he will get when called up? With that said, your OF is going to be hurting as you have 3 of the 6 OF's on your squad possibly getting limited at bats.

Your starting pitching has a lot of upside. With that said, not many are proven vets and could suffer through some bad times. I think pitching will be middle of the pack, upper tier if the young guys upside pans out.

You will definately be hurting for saves unless one of your middle relievers/Chapman starts getting saves. Your only sure guy right now is Nathan, and he is coming back from surgery. So you definately have some uncertainty here. Saves seem to always find their way to the free agent pool however.

Overall, I think the team has potential. Just too many question marks for me. Just my unprofessional 2 cents.
