Stupid refresh button

Post by Geoffrey Stein » Fri Mar 04, 2011 6:17 am

For the past two weeks, I've been on the Fanball site trying to figure out what's going on -- refreshing feverishly wasn't working! Thanks to Greg and Tom for pointing me in the right direction :)

I'm happy to announce -- starting with this Sunday's online drafts -- that I am returning to the NFBC! I missed you guys; though, I still got my fair share of Slow Draft texts!

The transition to STATS has gone smoothly, no doubt, and I'm happy to see the NFBC in such good hands. STATS has done an awesome job in such a short amount of time.

The phone number remains the same (231.903.5042) and I can still be reached at [email protected], as well (make sure you get that R in there!).

In all seriousness, it's great to have Geoff back working with us. Nobody runs an online draft like Geoff does so all that crazy stuff I let you guys get away with goes out the door now.

We have a lot of drafts going on through the end of the month and it's great to know Geoff will be here will be here with us helping us navigate our way through everything once again. You've been missed my friend.

Geoff, will you be working the 50-round Super Satellite this Tuesday night? With a 5+ hour runtime, something tells me we''ll be in need of a top notch draft-room administrator that evening.

Welcome back! :D

Geez, I leave the office for one day and look who slides in through the side door!! :D Welcome back Geoff.

I think everyone knows how much we want Geoff to be part of the NFBC and I think this is a start to making that happen. We need his expertise and dedication during this next month and Geoff is the only one we'd consider to run those Main Event Onlines, which are very important to the growth of our event. He's the best and we are now in good hands going forward. He's our lead man for the satellite leagues, Online Championships and the rest, but you know Tom and I will be working at nights with him, too.

We have a lot more work to do in the consumer fantasy contest area and if we do some of the things I'm hopeful we can do in the near future Geoff will be a big part of that. So treat him well and keep him healthy!! Welcome back bud.
