Spring Training Games In Vegas

Guys, I came to Vegas a week early and got a chance to watch two Cubs spring training games in sold out Cashman Field in Vegas......80 degrees, sunshine.......Starlin Castro will be a first round pick for any of us who watched the games........in two games he was 6 for 6 with 2 homers and a stolen base.........the forecast is for beautiful weather all week.....

Doug, how is Vegas right now, starting to get packed? I am heading down there this Wed, one more day to work tomorrow!

I think I'm in the Friday DP Live draft at 4 pm with you, have the number 12 pick, good luck to you and everyone in our draft. I don't know if having a number 12 pick this draft is a good thing or bad thing...

Hi, Scottie and Matt:

Yes, Vegas has been crowded since I arrived on Saturday.....but I've been too busy prepping for the draft in my hotel room to even make a basketball bet in the sports book.....the weather has been beautiful.....I've got a golf game booked for Thursday....the Aria sports book has the most beautiful picture on a huge screen TV I've ever seen....Scottie, nice to see you get the wheel pick in our DP draft.....I pick #2, so the draft decisions won't start until round 2 for me......I'm in a 9 a.m. auction Friday morning too.......busy day for me

Doug, it will be interesting to see how your auction plays out. I hope Greg puts those boards out on Friday for view after the auction. I'm doing the auction the following week in Chicago.

Can't do the Main this Saturday because already had a spring training trip in Phoenix planned with friends. I was lucky to even make the Friday DP draft this year.

Staying at the Las Vegas Hilton starting tomorrow, can't wait! Anyone else in the Friday drafts heading out soon? Where are you guys staying?
