Add two more...Wayne Edwards and Dave Clum.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Add Ken and me. I'll keep it to a 5-miler that morning so can make it to breakfast with all y'all.
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

Hmmm, just wondering if they have an 18 top
Not to worry, it's not as if I'm working out the seating arrangements for a Bar Mitzvah! When I get in tomorrow I'll talk with them and work out the details, then update you on this thread. Folks will straggle in no doubt, be sure to identify yourself as part of the NFBC group, so they direct you to where we're seated.

No way you get Gabe Hinkelman to fork over the price of a Bellagio breakfast. O wait, that is why he is bringing the old man!

Breakfast at Bellagio
Fortunately for Gabe, he'll have several old men to choose from. Once again Ken, it's just not going to be the same..................Next year my man!
Ron Spurgeon's bringing his flatware from home. That makes 19 for sure and two possibles.

Bob, if you ever get rid of that fly by night gig that you're doing now, the Holiday Inn is looking for co-ordinators to set up group outings
It's funny, at the same exact time you guys are having your group breakfast with some notes and lists exposed in front of you, a certain somebody is touring the security system and looking in at the camera's right above you.
This is really to let you know that your PM box is full.

Bob:
It is the night before Christmas here on the East Coast. Double Auction tomorrow followed by two drafts on Saturday & Sunday and a Live DP on Monday night to boot.
From my hotel window I cannot see the fountains of the Bellagio or the bright lights of the Vegas strip. However, I can see Citi Field and I must say it has me juiced. ( Oops, bad baseball phrase ) Take it easy on the Hinkelman's this weekend and I accept your double or nothing offer for Saturday's Main Event! Enjoy my friend.

All righty then, the good news is that the Buffet has the ability to handle a group our size, but it's pricier than I remembered. I thought it was $16 deal when I set this plan in motion, only to find out on arrival that $16 is the price everyday EXCEPT Saturday. The upshot is this: $24.95 for the Saturday Brunch (I don't believe anyone will be drinking bubbly before the draft so I'll ignore that little wrinkle) For parties over 8 they add an 18% gratuity ($6.51per person for a total of $31.46 per.) Do we arrange several tables in close proximity to one another instead and leave our own tip instead? Let's see how many nuts fall from the tree first. (I'm speaking figuratively here
) Everyone I've spoken to so far is still in, but I realize the cost will be a deal breaker for some. Call me on my cell 303-641-6839 and let me know if you want to decline, I'll totally understand. (I have an auction starting 9AM this morning so leave a message if you can't reach me.)
I will say this, they do have a nice buffet. Is it worth the price? I don't think so, but it should be worth the experience. Still, apologies for not being aware of this inflation in advance, had I been I would have considered an alternative site.
You're on Ken-Good luck this weekend!
Dan, the 'glass' is now half full.
Gene-It will be good to here your voice come Saturday. Don't expect any sympathy picks from the LV 4 table though
