NFBC Auction Championship IS SOLD OUT!!

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sat Mar 26, 2011 1:03 pm

It took until the last possible day to pull this off, but we SOLD OUT the NFBC Auction Championship this year with 135 teams. The overall prize pool was based on nine full leagues this year and we've now reached that goal. Last year we also had 135 teams, but the prize pool was based on 150 teams at $800 each rather than this year's 135 teams at $850 each.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU once again for making this season such a big success. This is another example of how you folks are taking up the contests we are offering and our estimation of how many teams we can get per contest is right on the mark. That's the key for both of us because we need to have the grand prizes big enough to entice you, yet not so high that it's financial suicide to run those games at a loss. Anyone who is doing that in this business is not being smart nor ensuring a long existence.

I appreciate all of the support again and we'll close out the Auction Championship with live auctions tomorrow in Las Vegas and New York. Here's the LV 10 am auction lineup for tomorrow:
