Week 1 Lineups Are LOCKED For Thursday To Sunday

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Mar 29, 2011 3:15 am

Okay, I just confirmed this with STATS today and we have decided to lock lineups for Week 1 this Thursday for the entire slate of games this week. There will not be a chance to change out your lineups for the Friday-Sunday games.

This is contrary to what I did tell owners in Las Vegas throughout the weekend and I apologize. We will send out a newsletter today to update everyone on this ruling and I'll continue to bump this thread up to make sure everyone understands what is happening in Week 1.

So please set your starting lineup on Thursday with the thought that these players will be in your lineup all four days of Week 1. Starting in Week 2 and continuing through Week 27, there will be a Monday-Thursday transaction period and then a Friday-Sunday transaction period. Good luck all.

Owners should also realize that Thursday will be handled like any Monday, with lineups locking for the early games 5 minutes before their scheduled start and the rest of your lineups locking at 6:55 pm ET. So on Thursday you will have a little extra time to lock in your starting lineups if your players aren't involved in those early games.

Good luck. LET'S PLAY BALL!!!

Common sense and the right decision. Thanks for clarifying Greg.

I hate to tell you this Greg but your weekly newsletter you just sent out contradicts you and says...

LINEUPS SHOULD BE SET ON THURSDAY

You have until 5 minutes before the first game on Thursday to lock in your starting lineup for the week. This is Week 1 of the NFBC season and Thursday is like a typical Monday. Get your lineup in on Thursday morning and you will be all set. Friday is a normal Friday which means you can replace any hitter in your lineup for the weekend games if you choose to.

We will send out a different email now. That was incorrect. We will correct that message immediately.

If you're not receiving NFBC newsletters now then we need to get you on the list. Send a request to Tom at [email protected] and he will make sure you get every newsletter going forward. If you're signed up you should be getting them so check your junk folder or spam blocker because they are going out to everyone.
