OK, ok.. I am lol.

I've deleted my stupid idea of a post.

My mistake, and I'll just shut up now.

No offense, Gekko, but I still think you are a NOTORIOUS TOUT.

I have a feeling you are proud of it.

A warning label.

You MUST be a Democrat.

talking up players and a bit of (reverse) physchology is all good imo. If people are weak enough to be influenced by others opinions that is their problem.

I must say that I met a lot of you NFBC owners over the last two weeks and this has to be among the smartest group of individuals assembled in one contest. How all of you smart human beings allow one person to affect your draft strategy, your free agent pickups, your way of life, your marriage and all the rest is beyond me. I think it's obvious how some head coaches get in the heads of refs or some great NBA players get into the heads of their opponents, but I've yet to figure out how so many people fall for these stupid antics hook, line and sinker from Gekko.

Again, you guys are all smart enough to make your own decisions. If anyone touts any player on our boards I trust that each and every one of you will do your homework and investigate his past performances and analyze his future potential. If you need me to put warning labels on certain individual posts, let me know. I'll consider and then ..... Well, I'll allow you to make the final decision.

To think someone is bidding higher for a player because anyone in our contest is touting him on the message boards says more about the player making the bid than the people touting the player. Beat the best by doing your homework folks and have fun on the boards. I know that our playground is open for business again, but this sure is an interesting start to the season. ;) Good luck all.

I've had the pleasure of being in 2 live drafts with Mark over the years in New York, both times drafting in the slot next to him. Neither of us were big talkers during the draft, but I found him polite, entertaining and obviously very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor.

I'm sure he has a blast posting some of his messages knowing full well the responses he will get. Heck, I'll even read some of them for pure entertainment purposes only. Mind games are part of his game play, and if you want to fall into that trap......well, good luck.

Frankly, if anyone gets ANY of their draft research off these boards, I think you better start to re-think your preparation methods.
Happy Recap

You guys are really slaying me now, but I set myself up for this.

I got Venable in round four by the way....
