Hanley vs Tulo

If you took Hanley at #2 and passed on Tulo how do you feel today?

Tulo - 5HR NL lead

Hanley - 0 HR NL basement

is the potential there for Hanley to outperform Tulo or is this the changing of the tides and Tulo has put himself before Hanley in future drafts.

Or are you just waiting for that famous Tulo injury! thats why you didnt draft him over hanley...

As somebody who debated in an EARLY draft between Albert and Hanley with my # 1 Pick, I think it is safe to say that Hanley hasn't deserved to be the Top SS off the board so far, let alone the #1 Overall.

If Tulo puts together an entire year without getting hurt, his numbers will tell the story of the New Draft Order for 2012 and maybe beyond...

or Asdrubal Cabrera if he can keep it up all year...

or Alexi Ramirez...

or Angel Sanchez...

In short, it is too early. If I had had the opportunity, I would have chosen Hanely over Tulo and nothing i have seen yet would have changed my mind. I would just be waiting for Hanley to wake up and give me the production that he historically has. One hot week can change a lot of stats.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

I thought Hanley falling to me at #7 was a gift, and it was... it was a bag of poo on my front porch.

Let's check back when Greg is drinking a Corona to celebrate cinco de Mayo and see how Hanley's doing.

Picking #2 I chose Hanley for me it was health I don't know if Tulo can stay up right all year. I figure if Tulo could stay healthy for a full season he would out produce Hanely I just didn't want to take that chance at #2.

Including the end of last year it's been 91 At Bats since Hanley's last HR.

Does anyone else find this alarming?

Does anyone else find this alarming? I find it more alarming that Jimmy Rollins has 76 AB's in the 3 hole and has 1 rbi. On that Phillies team!
