Our friends at Mastersball.com provide a weekly NFBC column for us that we include in our Tuesday newsletter. For those who haven't seen it, here is this week's story - an interview with our own Dan Kenyon.

Great interview w/ the Doughboy aka the Anglo-Saxon version of The Most Interesting Man in the World (it's a popular commercial for Dos Equis beer) hafta explain pop culture ref's w/ Dan at times, otherwise he doesn't know what the hell your talkin' bout ;)

My only gripe, shoulda been longer. Anyone pals w/ a guy named Ulysses hasta have some real yarns to spin! :D

Dan - as always entertaining. You are the best thing about these boards and you deserve a little time in the spotlight somewhere else as well.

As a side note - I wrote a piece for last week"s NFBC Zone - and was disappointed that the newsletter didn't go out last week  ;)

The piece deals with managing the waiver wire in April with a focus on the different approach you might employ for the 12 team DP leagues.

As an added bonus - Glenn Lowy (aka GlennerationX) was kind enough to answer a few questions about the DP leagues and they are included in the comments section. So please feel free to check out the article and Glenn's comments.

Today Mastersball, tomorrow SI, someday Time's Man of the Year. There's no stopping Mr. Doughboys.

Seriously Dan, fun & interesting article. Keep up the good work on all the info sites and this board.

Ryan, enjoyed your article as well. Todd should give you your own byline. ;)

I had the honor and privilege of meeting Dan at the Main Event this year. An incredibly nice and approachable man; the NFBC community is blessed to have him.

Thanks for being who you are Mr. Kenyon. Keep up the great "work"! :D

My brother was just elected Mayor of our city. We live in a town of about 80,000 folks.

Since, I've been asking him if I should address him as SIR or MR. Anything to annoy him..

I also promised that if I'm ever pulled over for even a speeding ticket or parking violation, that I will scream at the top of my lungs, "Do you know who my brother is?!" And make a ruckus fit for the local news.

I'll have to get some tips from a video of when Miguel Cabrera was pulled over.

great interview with a class guy. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dan last year in St. Louis at the ME. He and his wife came east to draft Week 1in StL, spend time in Ohio with his daughter, draft Week 2 in Chicago, then head back to the mountains (I'm sure his wife still talks of my Kentucky accent)

we've teamed up in a private league this year, so we talk and email quite often. it's been a lot of fun, and only going to get better as the season progresses.

BTW Dan, did you notice we benched Liriano-no this week?

Thanks Bill.

We're not alone.

Heck, Francis Liriano, Francisco's mom, had him on the bench and the Twins had his bags packed.

It's amusing how we still revere the no-hitter. Clearly, it was not dominating, nor masterful, really, it was a guy throwing a complete game where the other team happened not to find a hole or gap.

A no-hitter still, sure, but really, the Twins probably do not feel that much different about him. If he gets lit up in the next couple of games, he could be the first pitcher to throw a no-no and find himself shipped to the minors two weeks later. :D
